I had a few Dems block me yesterday and this morning and attack me calling me “MAGA” for “turning on Swallwell.” I want to be clear, if you’re making excuses, you’re doing what Trump supporters did to protect him from his rape allegations. You’re no different and I have no patience for you anyway. I saw some of you attack my friend as she posted literal videos and screenshots of Swallwell. Showing his behavior and proved he was using Snapchat to sexually harass and procure sex with younger women. Go join MAGA where they defend predators, you fucking scum. 👏🏼

If you read the FIVE credible accounts and their details/corroboration and don’t believe the women, I don’t know what to say. Then one woman Swalwell kind of stalked is well known on twitter and went on record too. There is clearly something very wrong with him. Just like Trump is credibly accused by dozens except the Republican party is a conman’s cult. Democrats aren’t a cult.

@scarylawyerguy @AntiToxicPeople Can we have a real investigation before we throw Swalwell out please?

@AntiToxicPeople One of the accounts is he asked a woman for oral sex and she said yes. Trump is credibly accused of multiple rapes and murders abd hasn't resigned, so why should Swalwell? Trump has eliminated the whole concept of a political scandal.

I need to shout out @FranklinSports for coming thru with the equipment,,, when I told them what I was doing,,, they said to pull up to the warehouse and gave more than a generous generous full wish list. They also help me gift huge amounts of foster kids during the holidays. 🙏🏾🫶🏾

Believe the women. Yes, this is a hit job but the evidence is there. It doesn't matter that it happened years ago, it still happened. Yes, we should've known sooner. Yes, the timing is unfortunate. Yes, the gop is 100% weaponizing it. That doesn't change what happened.

My only comments on the Swalwell stuff before bed: A) the allegation(s) seems credible. and if it's credible it's bad enough that he should drop out. I guess he does deserve to give his side but it seems like he's done B) the conduct of certain influencers/operatives on here the past several days has been really disgusting and unbecoming of how anyone decent would handle accusations of something as serious as sexual assault. People were treating it like it was some sneaker drop or something, gleefully hyping it up. They could've easily waited the few days until the actual story was released. But they wanted the clout and to feel important. It really was gross. It gave me Tara Reade vibes, again. And made me feel less likely to believe the accusations when they were finally reported (responsibly) and seemed that it was coming from a place that was primarily concerned with getting at a political rival.

Some things in Iowa don't change. My uncle has been locked in a 10 year battle with local restaurants because they give senior discounts but multiple restaurants have told him that he cannot have it because he eats too much. If anyone is counting I think at this point the count on this particular battle is Country Kitchen: 147 Uncle: 0

There will likely be votes to expel two members of Congress next week. I really don’t care what side you are on. If you are stealing FEMA funds, sexually assaulting women, harassing them, etc. you need to get out of the House of Representatives. Maybe leadership on both sides needs to LEAD instead of hiding under rocks and behind vaguely worded statements carefully written to make the American people hate you even more.

@Shawnrobb72 @MikeLevin That was my first thought—we’re going to ‘Franken’ Swallwell just like that?! Plus, I would not put it past Trump and his Maga-philes to have paid this girl a million dollars to do this now. Trump wants revenge & it’s another distraction from his Epstein files. Makes me sick.

Eric Swalwell should suspend his gubernatorial campaign immediately. The allegations against him are grave and deeply troubling, and they demand a thorough investigation. I have nothing but respect for the brave women who have spoken up. Their voices deserve to be taken seriously, and those responsible must be held accountable. Should the facts bear out what has been alleged, resignation from Congress is the only appropriate outcome. The consequences here must be proportionate to the truth, wherever it leads.

I am calling on @RepSwalwell to resign from office. Idk in what parallel universe we are living in that elected members of congress begin to chose politics and party BS over basic human dignity. I have called for Republican members to do the same when they are caught doing corrupt and morally bankrupt crap. Dem leadership needs to do the same.

Someone tell Mike Johnson to jointly expel Tony Gonzales and Eric Swalwell. That would do wonders for his public image. He’d be seen as a great big hero, cleaning House (pun intended).

.@ericswalwell should withdraw from the governors race and resign from Congress immediately. There is a particular kind of betrayal that cuts deeper than the rest. It is not just the harm itself, but the performance that surrounds it. The speeches, the advocacy, the public image carefully built to look like integrity. It is the deliberate choice to stand in front of people and claim to fight for justice while knowing, privately and undeniably, that you are part of the harm. He knew. He knew every time he assaulted someone. He knew about the messages, the photos, the pattern. He knew how often he crossed the line with young staffers. He knew exactly who he was and what he had done. And he did it anyway. He stood in public and condemned Jeffrey Epstein and Donald Trump. He claimed to fight for women. He pointed fingers at other abusers and spoke about accountability as if it did not apply to him. He knew all of this and still ran for governor. He ran because he believed he would get away with it. He believed the truth would stay buried, that power would protect him, that no one would hold him accountable. And when the accusations started to surface, he did not respond with honesty or remorse. He responded with arrogance. He pointed to poll numbers. He posted crowd photos. He deflected. He lied. As a 23 year old woman, it is exhausting and infuriating to watch this happen over and over again. Because no, it is not all men. But the truth is that you cannot always tell which men. The ones who call themselves allies. The ones who speak the loudest. The ones who build their reputations on defending women can still be predators. They can still be abusers. And they often chase more power believing it will shield them. Too often, it does. Power does not cleanse men of what they have done. It hides it. And what makes it even more devastating is the silence forced on the women around them. Women who were harassed, assaulted, violated, and still feel they have to protect their careers instead of tell the truth. Women who believe that speaking out will cost them everything. There is a line from the reporting that will not leave me. The women did not give their names because they did not want to damage their careers. They were harmed and still feel they have to hide, because a woman who stands fully in her truth carries a light that exposes everything built in darkness. And the people who rely on that darkness will do anything to keep that light from shining. How many women have swallowed their pain to survive professionally? How many have stood behind powerful men who hurt them because they believed coming forward would destroy their future, or even set women back entirely? That is not just injustice. It is systemic. So let me be clear. If you are a man in politics, whether you are a Republican or a Democrat, and you have abused women, harassed women, or exploited women, your time is not infinite. Your power is not protection. Your image is not immunity. You may avoid consequences for a while. You may even succeed in something greater. But accountability is coming. No matter the office. No matter the election. No matter how long it takes. You will answer for what you have done.
