@hitaskunk Explain what the problem is with Trudeau's government, specifically what policies earn him such disdain, and we can start there to explain "popularity".

Serious question: What difference will it make if Trudeau steps down and a new leader is named? The policies won’t change. I really don’t get the popularity contest zeitgeist. Explain it to me like I’m a child.

@PaulChampLaw Isn't the conflict resulting in bombing and killing in Gaza and Lebanon based on Israel's defence against those who actively (and violently) try to terminate it? Wanna end violence there? Accept Israel's right to exist.

Protests against Israel’s attacks on Lebanon, Gaza and West Bank are important and necessary. But I’m disgusted with some chants that suggest Israel should not exist. Israel’s war crimes must be condemned but calling for the end of Israel is unacceptable.

@WaytowichNeil Every time an election is in the air, I hope, I dream, I wish there'd be news about issues and fitness for office. Instead, we get horse race speculation and polls asking opinions and saying them back. Polls have no actionable information. They're lazy journalism.

“The NDP said it removed Wasyliw because a partner at his law firm is representing convicted sex offender and disgraced fashion mogul Peter Nygard.” This is bullshit. What does this have to do with his work as an MLA? Does Kinew not understand how the law works?

Trudeau's entire caucus is coming to BC for a 'summer retreat'. The Liberals are in full panic mode.

PETERSON: In Canada there are so many scandalous things happening, that no one can keep up. About every 2 weeks the Trudeau gov't has a scandal of a magnitude under normal circumstances to collapse a competent gov't. And yet, nothing happens! ☠️😵‍💫

@Shawnquennevil4 @AndrewScheer I've practised law for over 20 years and I've not seen a foreclosure yet. But you think there will be many in the near future. BTW, the interest rate went down. Again.

Trudeau’s deficits drove up inflation and interest rates. Now, more than 1 in every 8 Canadian homeowners believe they will have to sell their house when they go to renew their mortgage. Trudeau created an unprecedented housing and mortgage crisis He’s not worth the cost.

@PremierScottMoe Didn't Mr. Jagmeet Singh say that if the Liberals did this, he would end their agreement with the Liberals? 😉. O.K., I am waiting, Mr. Singh.

The federal government today took the appropriate action, imposing binding arbitration on all parties and extending the current collective agreements to end the rail stoppage and ensure our Canadian products are moving to market again.

@TanyaRanne @CPC_HQ @mferreriptbokaw It's great t hat @mferreriptbokaw considers that gender is not so black and white, this or that, and that there may be circumstances when "gender" is nuanced. But I doubt she's considered that. She most likely posted it to jump on the wing-nut, anti-trans bigotry bandwagon.

Trudeau arrives in 27 SUV motorcade for $1800/head fundraiser, after crisscrossing Canada in private jet. Will you help kick Trudeau out in 2025 and elect a leader who walks the talk?

My impression of the Canadian political system, as I do a deep dive into it: Conservatives are working much harder than liberals, are more creative in their campaigning and are far more likely to put their money where their mouths are.
