Sadly, OHA has helped drive privatization of Ontario hospitals. The CEO was Mike Harris' spokesperson. Then he went to work for Navigator, the spin/lobbying firm owned by convicted fraud, Jaime Watt. Then he went to lead the Ontario Hospital Association. Kill it from inside.

Ontario hospitals are short $3.2 billion. They're in deficit and borrowing from banks. The Ontario Hospital Association says it's dire. I see so many ER hallway patients and think about the billions wasted, and I get frustrated. By @a_longhurst policyalternatives.ca/news-research/…

This is the most important, most brilliant, and most well written thing you could read today. If you’re an Albertan, or a Canadian, and read nothing else, fine. Just read this. Goodness me. Every word. readtheline.ca/p/clarke-ries-…

On May 15, 1919, the largest strike in Canadian history began when 30,000 workers in Winnipeg went on strike. The Winnipeg General Strike was a watershed moment in Canadian history and came to an end on Bloody Saturday. This is the story. 📸 Archives of Manitoba 🧵 1/12

You know what's weird? There isn't a single person I've come across on Twitter who supports Doug Ford and I am terminally on line. Find me fan of Doug Ford.

I want to thank the Canadian Coalition for Firearms Rights (CCFR) for inviting me on for a great interview. As Premier, I will stand up to the federal gun grab and asset confiscation. It is wrong to target law-abiding gun owners, farmers, hunters, sport shooters, and responsible British Columbians, while criminals continue to smuggle guns across our porous borders with serial numbers erased. We need common-sense firearms policy that focuses on real criminals, not on punishing honest, law-abiding citizens who use firearms safely and responsibly. Thank you again to the CCFR for the opportunity to speak clearly on this important issue. I look forward to continuing this conversation with gun owners across British Columbia.

NEW: As part of the government's plan to expand jail capacity, it will be adding "tensile" structures to current facilities. The Solicitor General says "they're not tents" and that one has already been set up in the southwest. #Onpoli globalnews.ca/news/11849388/…

On May 14, 1947, the Chinese Immigration Act was finally repealed after 24 years. The Act essentially prohibited any Chinese immigration to Canada except in very rare cases. The Act prevented many families from seeing each other for years. This is the story. 🧵 1/10

Trump bought COREWEAVE bonds before they got bailed out by NVIDIA—whose CEO went on the trip to China. Trump bought BOEING bonds just before Scott Bessent announces an order of jets by China. Boeing’s CEO was also there. I cannot even believe what I’m seeing here. Even for him.

"We don't need another photo op" - Pierre Poilievre 9 hours ago - "Check out this video guys." Yesterday - "Here's a fire truck" Also, yesterday - "Here's me in front of a city!" The guy who has been in literal campaign mode for years is worried about photo ops?

Prime Minister, we don't need another photo op, or a higher industrial carbon tax that makes Canada’s energy sector less competitive. Get moving and green-light a pipeline to the Pacific to get shovels in the ground by Christmas: conservative.ca/cpc/more-canad…

@TDotResident Where are all the Fiscal Conservatives that voted for Doug? They should be absolutely outraged by what's going on. Fiscally, Ontario is literally about to go over the cliff!
