Lindsey Graham is calling on Trump to supply Ukraine with Tomahawk missiles. Unfortunately, so far, these have been nothing more than empty words. For almost a year, Lindsey Graham has been talking about Trump helping Ukraine - and nothing has changed. In fact, since Trump became president, russia has increased its attacks on Ukraine tenfold. The United States has largely halted military aid and intelligence sharing, helping to trigger one of the worst humanitarian catastrophes of the war. And, of course, a photo of the war criminal Vladimir Putin now hangs in the White House. Even the recent so-called “pause” in strikes on Ukrainian energy infrastructure served only one purpose: to allow russia to stockpile enough missiles and drones for yet another mass attack on Ukraine. So while I appreciate Lindsey Graham’s rhetoric, words alone will not stop Putin.
