Recently, @YumaGroup's role in the $TAO ecosystem has faced scrutiny. I'm not the smartest, but I understand @YumaGroup is providing services to subnets for a large percentage of their emissions. @JosephJacks_, whom I highly respect, explained that Yuma acts as a VC to these subnets. Yuma is bringing venture capitalism to $TAO, which the design of $TAO negates. I agree that we don’t want this. Conversely, @BarrySilbert has also done great things for the #Bittensor ecosystem. He is setting the stage for institutional adoption for $TAO I believe $TAO in and of itself is the solution. It's the greatest Darwinistic ecosystem, where the best project wins. The mechanisms of #Bittensor in theory will work this out its self. If efficiency and capital allocation aren't precise, the subnet will fail. This increases the value of subnets doing it right, like #SN4, #SN51, and #SN64. Again, I’m not sure what’s 100% going on, but leave your thoughts on this matter below ⬇️
