Important context for $PEPE holders: In 2023, Pepe creator Matt Furie received 1 trillion $PEPE tokens as a gift from the community. He accepted them and sold them for around $600,000. By taking the tokens and cashing out, his actions show he was okay with the project using his character. This makes it much harder for him to claim copyright infringement later. It supports strong legal defenses like implied permission and fair dealing. This was a big worry for holders early on, but the sale helped ease those concerns. 🐸

CT is dwindling smaller and smaller every day because memecoins and NFTs are dead. But folks are still so fired about certain topics and want to divide. Why are we wired to fire back so quickly without understanding the intentions of the tweet? Let me be the first to bridge this gap because all of us need to stand together as a community in this dwindling world and not fight each other. To the rest of the world, we are all in the same boat. The tweet was not meant to divide but to provide potential legal implications from Matt's actions for selling the donated tokens. Yes. I should have just left out the word " the community" in my post because some people interpreted that meaning its the $PEPE community who donated. It is not. It was Pauly and the Pond/Pork community who donated and a lot of them in the past were Pepe holders. They deserve credit for their generosity and as a result of this donation, potentially and indirectly benefited $PEPE holders today because Matt's ability to argue against the $PEPE token is weaker by cash the donation in. I'll own up to that mistake but in my head, I wasn't trying to give credit to where credit wasn't due. That wasn't the point of the tweet. And lastly, I got my law degree from Grok University so don't take anything I say so seriously.

The OBVIOUS inference there is that he received those tokens from the $PEPE community. Which is complete horse shit and a lie.
Trying to now deflect and state that isn’t the point of your tweet is laughable, as you wouldn’t have been so deceptive in your original post if you weren’t trying to paint some false narrative.
The donation to Matt wasn’t to somehow benefit shitcoin holders, it was express gratitude to an artist, forgotten about by people who materially benefited from his work.

Yes. For simplicity sake and for the new people here, who sent it is not important and not the focus of my tweet. Community just meant someone not affiliated with the coin. What's important is that he received it and cashed out which has legal implications that are beneficial for $PEPE holders..
