The transfer portal has screwed up college sports. My bill is simple: you get 5 consecutive years to play 5 seasons and you get 1 transfer. After that, if you transfer again, you sit out a year. This will fix 80% of the issues in NIL today.

I had to provide passport or birth certificate and proof of residency. I think you might be wrong on this. But doesn’t matter. My point is whatever ID it is should be easy for a voter to obtain. Voting is a right and we don’t want arbitrary obstacles preventing the exercise of that right.

Only 2% of the oil used in U.S. domestic gas supplies comes through the Strait of Hormuz. There is no reason we should be paying higher gas prices. It’s all a scam.

Because the most effective means of government influencing behavior is through the tax code. Deductions for behavior we want more of (investments). I like the idea of a flat tax but it would fundamentally upend the current system. Changes would take a while to be absorbed and lots of pain early.

I have a really dumb question: Why can't we just have a flat tax rate for every person? And get rid of the stupid deductions, etc? Just have everyone pay the same rate in the U.S.? It would save us from so many damn problems. And all these idiotic arguments.
