Delighted to hear about Dr Prem Taba’s achievement in being invited to present at the International Conference on Advances in Educational Research, Humanities, and Social Sciences (ICAERHS 2026) in Madrid, Spain. His paper, “Spirits of the Forest: Uyu-Based Knowledge Systems and Shifting Ecologies in Nyishi Cosmology,” is a remarkable contribution that takes the wisdom of our indigenous traditions to the global stage. Had a wonderful interaction with the remarkable young folks from Youth Mission for Clean River – Arunachal Pradesh. These are bright, highly qualified driven individuals coming together not for credit or applause, but because they believe in something bigger than themselves. They’re out there cleaning rivers, planting trees, educating communities, and even pushing for policy changes. All to protect the lifeblood of our land, the rivers of Arunachal. They’re not waiting for change, they are the change. I’m proud to support their mission. Let’s back them up. And together, let’s bring our rivers back to life.
