@davidlynchlfc @footyfiend1 @kat_lfc13 How can you sit there and not call out the fact that management are going to let the vice captain leave and bring someone who is not good enough to play for Roma (a europa league) team but now is suddenly good enough for us again because there a few £ involved?

On the Andy Robertson situation: Any potential return for Kostas Tsimikas would need to be mutually agreed with AS Roma, but he has managed just 380 Serie A minutes so far. On the surface, it doesn't seem like they would be too reluctant to let him go.

@ESPNUK The difference is we are doing it in style and mixing it up, we also aint going out to deliberately break legs of our opponents (why Wenger referred to your playing style as rugby, note the difference Tony)

Tony Pulis is loving Mikel Arteta's Arsenal style 👀: 🗣️ "I do find it funny that 10 or 12 years ago, I was taking a lot of flak from Gunners supporters and Arsene Wenger was saying that Stoke were a rugby team because of our corner routines and long throws. I've seen the mocked-up picture of Arteta dressed as me, including my baseball cap, and I love it - he makes me look good-looking!" (via BBC Sport)

Liverpool spend and people admire how they conduct business. Arsenal spend, and people consider them favourites to win the title. Chelsea spend, and people wonder what they’re doing. That’s the difference between spending with a purpose and spending for the sake of spending.

@TomCom86136845 Haha Newcastle a fucking shithole, no wonder no one want to sign for you and your best player want to leave. Has 0 appeal compared the Manchester, Liverpool and London clubs and never will.

@_Goalinton_ @iansumm03608301 Why it so hard for Newcastle to understand we’ve just lost 3 strikers and we need to bring in 2. It was never about a power player

@iansumm03608301 Newcastle called their bluff on Ekitike and then they had to spend £80m on him just to save face. Now they've also lost out on the one they really wanted. Couldn't happen to a nicer club! #LFC

The reality is when Liverpool signed Ekitike they lost Isak. If they had let NUFC sign Ekitike, the constant media campaign and the players actions would have forced Newcastle to sell. But now they simply can’t sell because there isn’t a suitable replacement available.

@ThinkFYS1975 @Jim_Keoghan @NUFCgallowgate Don’t put Liverpool and United in the same bracket as Arsenal. You’re not even close to the big 2 In this country. Chelsea are ahead in London

@Jim_Keoghan @NUFCgallowgate No. They make a huge profit and invest to go again. Liverpool, manure or arsenal never had countries or oligarchs behind them. They became big clubs by being well run over 70 years + and are reaping the rewards of the champions league money era. Blame newcastle for being average

The Isak affair illustrates the genius of PSR for the elite Had Newcastle spent freely, they’d have built a squad more appealing to a player of Isak’s aspirations Instead, they’re hamstrung and likely to lose a key asset And thus the existing class system survives in tact

Berta's tactic is a a mix of pragmatism and opportunism, tailored for clubs that need to punch above their financial weight — something he did successfully at Atlético and is now trying to apply at Arsenal

At Atlético Madrid, Berta's hallmark was setting up multiple parallel negotiations early in the window. Rather than focusing solely on a single top target, Berta would: 1.Line up several potential deals (players in the same position or role). 1/3

People are very upset over this quote is because it’s true. They want to pretend Arsenal have been at full strength all season so they can get their little Twitter narratives off without feeling like bullies, but also because Arsenal doing this with so many injuries scares them.

Awwww Jimbo. I did read it and by the time I got to the end it very much felt like you were suggesting the club want most players to stay, every target you mentioned there was an issue with signing them, you said Trent was off and also said the club don’t see a No.6 being a priority because of the options there. Soo… as I read again… You said the club want Quansah, Elliott, Diaz, Jota all to stay. “Little appetite internally” to offload Chiesa too. Also, Endo is happy to stay and because of that the club no longer see a holding midfielder as a priority. You also said Trent is off, and majority of the targets you mentioned are going to be difficult to pull off because of the fee being asked or the fact another club is leading it. Stuck up for you in replies for some comments but, clearly you didn’t read it. But, you got yourself a reaction for interaction and stirred up more trolls.

So according to James Pearce’s update, Liverpool want everyone to stay, every other club is favourite to sign our targets, Trent is off to Madrid, defensive midfielder isn’t on the cards because the club are happy with what they got.
