VALORANT's ranked ladder is in the worst state it has ever been since the game has came out. Every single game has alt account players who don't care, purchased accounts that players are playing on that don't care, wintraders who are boosting accounts to sell, some sort of new cheat comes out every single week that invades the queues. Streamers are sniped by repeat offenders with nothing being done, and Riot games has absolutely no one to work on this. The only employee I have ever seen to even attempt to work on ranked is Gamerdoc, and its not even his job's focus. Tier 2 players are selling accounts to make money, even selling their own accounts just to make profit. There's no ranked rewards besides the same gun buddy that no one cares about, and out of the top 5000, I would say only 500 of them are actual dedicated players on their main alias. It is genuinely sad that this is how the game has turned out, and every couple months, Riot will just fake that they care about ranked, and add some useless feature that will do absolutely nothing to ranked. Not a single riot games employee will ever address this publicly, and the game is just not fun. Hopefully something will be done one day, but for now this seems like the type of community and game they want to have

@DayalSami I’m not even a Elon supporter tbh I don’t really like him but objectively speaking considering what he’s provided to the world it’s pretty reasonable to see how he is a trillionaire and also the fact the he earned it, he didn’t just get gifted it for free.

@cortenval @ValorantUpdated i mean yea true but going back to the main point agent bans could even have an impact on the players you named where if they get stream sniped the opposing team would band together to purposely ban sage for grim which again just makes it miserable to play.

@SunkennMD @ValorantUpdated I was more so talking about one tricks like ziptie or grimm who's whole identity is playing one agent, obviously you don't wanna learn more then like 3 agents maximum but you wanna have a couple agents under your belt incase of stuff like people locking in your agent faster.

@cortenval @ValorantUpdated ye of course different agents that introduce other ways of playing would be great cause seeing viper every map is boring i can agree but she is just too good not to be used

@SunkennMD @ValorantUpdated Yeah if we are talking VCT I understand where you are coming from with the whole viper thing, a lot of agents are very "staple" on some maps and its harder to find a good workaround. I feel like we just need more agents like the other ones in their role (More wall smokes)

@cortenval @ValorantUpdated once again i was only referring to vct not ranked but in ranked the best way to rank up is to just main 1 or 2 agents and master them, i dont see a viable arguement in ranked at least to play 10 diffrent agents unless you generally like playing them then thats fine.

@SunkennMD @ValorantUpdated I can see how that makes it unfair but, thats also why you don't just stick to one agent even if it doesn't feel fun to play a different one you gotta be able to choose someone different esp if someone is instalocking your main. If you dodge a lot you will just lose a ton of RR.

@cortenval @ValorantUpdated im talking about vct only not in ranked if thats what you mean, ranked you can pick any comp and win its just about who shoots better in that gamemode but in vct my point is that the state of play would inherently drop because viper is banned.

@SunkennMD @ValorantUpdated Viper is better in team play though, VCT level type of playing sometimes. Ranked is a dif story, 2 days ago I had q'ed some ranked with two of my teammates in my prem team and when one of them picked viper one of the random's in my team who picked miks got angry and didn't smoke.

@cortenval @ValorantUpdated also lets take players who are very skilled on a certain agent, teams getting a free ban is a cheap way to counter that player without actually putting in the time to form a anti strat against them which again to me drops the level of play and makes it less enjoyable to watch.

Lets say teams banned viper, yes more diverse comps would arise but that's because they are forcefully being made because viper is banned which inherently makes the level of play drop because viper is a staple on almost every map-

Eu não sou uma pessoa não binaria, sou uma mulher trans, mas eu não sou passável e muitas vezes não performo androginia/me conformo com a expressão do gênero que eu me identifico. Tenho outros amigos, dentro e fora da esfera do Valorant, que são pessoas trans que performam androginia e pessoas cis que não se conformam com a expressão de gênero esperada delas. Tenho amigo homem cis hetero que gosta de usar maquiagem e tenho amigue não binário que tem nome retificado no "feminino" e se expressa de forma andrógina. Não existe uma forma de estabelecer se uma pessoa esta ou não dentro dos gêneros marginalizados que são recebidos dentro do Game Changers. Existem pessoas que podem se aproveitar dessa brecha? Sim, e essas pessoas nunca chegaram longe em nenhum campeonato e também nunca se preocuparam em manter a mentira por muito tempo. Essa perseguição não fere essas pessoas, pois se elas estão fingindo ou não, isso não muda nada na vida delas, mas isso abre espaço pra pessoas como >EU< sofrerem esses ataques também. Só rolar minha timeline do twitter e vocês vão ter muitas contas falsas comentando foto minha do instagram. Esse discurso reforça misoginia, implica que pessoas AMAB jogam melhor do que mulheres cis gênero e descredibiliza todo o esforço que essas meninas tem no dia a dia. O Valorant é um jogo onde você acerta tiro na cabeça e ganha, se você acha que existe alguma vantagem em pessoas trans jogando o campeonato, o problema é sua falta individual de skill e conhecimento. Não tem relação com a pessoa ser ou não ser algo, ou cumprir ou não cumprir sua expectativa de como ela deve ser/parecer/se comportar. Esse pensamento parte do mesmo principio de que "mulheres não podem jogar jogos online", literalmente a mesma linha de raciocínio que segrega nosso cenário e nossa sociedade como um todo. Eu torci pra SR, não conheço todas essas pessoas que estão na foto e não posso afirmar o que elas são ou não. Tudo o que eu posso fazer é melhorar a minha gameplay e viver a minha vida sem vergonha de ser quem eu sou.
