In the North Shore area all the roads between Vander Veer Rd on the east to Sea View Way on the west, and between 70th Ave on the north and 72nd Ave on the south, including 72nd Ave west of Commerce remain closed due to storm debris and down power poles and power lines.

Riverside County’s Emergency Management Department is working with @IIDatWork and District 4 @SupVMPerez to determine what services are needed to assist residents impacted by this outage. Follow @IIDatWork for the latest updates on the repairs.

Damage assessment and restoration work is underway in the North Shore area. Yesterday’s storm has knocked out some 33 poles. At this time, 954 customers remain out of power. Based on the most up-to-date information, estimated restoration time is four days.

@ECVFirst I completely agree. I’ve been working with IID on prioritizing the ECV but ultimately, I have no jurisdiction. Will continue to push for investments in those communities to prevent this from happening again.
