The implication of Obi-Kwankwaso NDC gamble The biggest political foul Obi and Kwankwaso will make is to part ways with the ADC coalition. No matter how charismatic a leader is, people do not follow him to a grave. As long as ADC is alive, NDC will not fly. If APC can plant Nafiu in the biggest opposition coalition ADC, why do you think they cannot create another Nafiu in NDC or PRP to destablise them. The problem bedeviling ADC is not Nafiu, but corrupt judiciary and biased electoral umpire. As long as no opposion party has control over judiciary and INEC, these challenges will persist. My advice is: stay in ADC to fight together. A boat cannot go forward if everyone is rowing in his own way. Defeating a ruling party like APC and a politician like Tinubu is not an easy task, even if all the political parties in Nigeria will gang up against him.

@GeneralSnow_ Is like you skipped Igbo language class when they were teaching" olulo uda ume" , Igbo vowel sounds and how to apply it. I and U is are vowel sounds so when two of them appear close to eachother in a word one gives way. Except you want to pronounce it as a compound word.

@GeneralSnow_ For the records Chukwu which is the abbrevied version of the compound word " Chi -Ukwu" refers to Big God in translation but in interpretation it means the almighty God.

At this point I think Atiku is the real stumbling block to defeating this criminal political party APC. I am beginning to think that he is the real mole working for Tinubu, because whenever real opposition and Nigerians wants to unit and make a move he will stand in the way.😡😠
KWEKU THE HUSTLER@Urchilla01

Please go and even listen to Ralph Nwosu talk about how Obasanjo first approached him to use the ADC as an opposition coalition vehicle. Mind you, Obj has been personally funding this party since he adopted it as an alternative opposition vehicle in 2018 (frames 1 to 3). Remember we had this conversation in 2022 @iamossy_ Mind you (4th frame), this same ADC endorsed the ObiDatti ticket as its presidential ticket in 2023. Guess who have been funding the party since? Anyone saying Atiku built ADC is a gigantic liar. Atiku has never built anything politically; he has merely always latched on and benefitted where others built. He was not there when Ekwueme et al. toiled day and night to form PDP. He jumped in and benefitted. He jumped to Tinubu's AC/ACN to contest the 2007 presidential election. From there, he jumped back to PDP to drag 2011 with GEJ and lost. He ended up destroying PDP in 2015 when he jumped to Tinubu & Buhari's APC to drag presidential nomination. He lost that one, and 2 years later, was back in the PDP again which others helped keep afloat after he ruined them. Mind you, this time, he benefitted from "the turn of the North" as the PDP did not allow any Southern politician contest the presidential primaries because, in principle, the North still had 4 years to go. After that, he ran to Dubai, chilled for 2 and a half years, then returned again to the same PDP, dragged the presidency when it was the turn of the south, and ended up ruining them finally. Today, he's in the ADC and his supporters want to gaslight you that he built the ADC or that he did the hard work of bringing the coalition together.

@novieverest If Atiku does not support Peter Obi and decides to run in 2027 in which he will surely lose, then 2031 the south will have no regards for any zoning or rotation and the south will produce another president. Atiku's current selfish ambition is joepardizing the North 2031 chances

@auntyoma_ Yes it's correct, Abian don't say lota it is cheta, two of them mean the same thing but pronounced differently. Some other dialects will say Rota, All of them means to remember. So this argument is needless. No competition or arguments on this an it's not a sign of division.

When Borrowing is Leprosy and cancerous. Mr. President, borrowing is not only a leprosy, but a killer cancer when it is borrowed for consumption and not production as it is in Nigeria today. Borrowing for consumption slowly eats away at the health, reputation, and autonomy of a nation. One of the major “leprosy” afflicting Nigeria today is not just debt, but debt without productivity. Debt that is not tied to measurable economic value. Debt that does not translate into jobs, growth, or improved living standards for the Nigerian people. No serious economy borrows recklessly. Nations borrow with discipline, with purpose, and with a clear plan for repayment through productive investment. Fiscal Responsibility Act 2007 provides that “Any government in the Federation or its agencies and corporations desirous of borrowing shall, specify the purpose for which the borrowing is intended and present a cost-benefit analysis, detailing the economic and social benefits of the purpose to which the intended borrowing is to be applied” Cost-benefit analysis must show how the loan would be applied, how it will impact economic growth and improve the welfare of Nigerian citizens in measurable ways. Most of the borrowings by this government do not satisfy the requirements of law or the requirements of economic common sense. The humongous borrowing so far does not show how the projects for the loans enhance the productive capacity of the nation and the welfare of Nigerian citizens. These loans are also dangerous because they burden the capacity of the Nigerian state to improve the economy in the future, as we have one of the world’s highest debt servicing ratios. What matters is not debt-GDP as much as debt-debt servicing ratio because the latter constrains our capacity to finance the sectors that drive human development and economic growth. If the money is wrongly spent as we do in Nigeria currently, it becomes double jeopardy because you are using current revenue to service debts that did not add to revenue or improve capacity for more production in the future. A responsible government does not merely defend borrowing; it explains it, justifies it, and most importantly, ensures it works for the people. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

I’m sure you’ve heard about Pastor Jerry Eze’s Foundation giving out $720,000 to 240 young entrepreneurs. God bless him for that. I love and respect the man. But here’s a lesson some churchgoers need to sit with. When it was time to select who got the money, Pastor Jerry, the same man who preaches miracles and unmerited favor, hired KPMG, one of the world’s top consulting firms, to go through the applications and find the most qualified candidates. The criteria did not include: Who speaks in tongues the longest. Who pays the highest tithes. Who bought the oil of prosperity last Sunday. Who fasted seven days for divine favor. Who shouts “fire” the loudest during deliverance. He hired KPMG. Not a prophet. Not an usher. Not his most loyal church member. A firm that evaluates business structure, financial records, turnover, industry viability, and legal registration. Dedicated tongue-talker with no business records? Nothing for you. Seed-sower who never structured a business? Nothing for you. Because when real money is on the line, even the pastor plays by business rules. This is not an attack on faith or those who are devoted to God. It is a call to start separating your devotion from your development. Your pastor is studying balance sheets while teaching you to sow seeds. Study what he does, not just what he says. Businesses do not grow through tongues. They grow through structure, discipline, and strategy. Separate your spirituality from your business principles. Both can coexist. But they are not the same tool.

@Pressman2040 You thinking that there is anything called United Nigeria is the height of fantasy and illusion. You can choose to gaslight yourself or ignore the obvious that's on you but you can't silence the voice of truth, and the truth is Nigeria is not united and it's not trying to be.

PATRIOTIC SOJA ($TSIR-MUNCHAN)
I respect your right to imagine. But I will give you my honest answer as a soldier who serves under the same flag that defeated that rebellion. War is not won by imagination. It is won by logistics, strategy, and the will of a people to remain one. The Biafran engineers were brilliant, no doubt. They built what they could with what they had. But brilliance alone does not build a world power. Sustainability does. And after three years, the enclave was starving, surrounded, and out of options. You ask me to imagine a sovereign Biafra. I will ask you to imagine a Nigeria where every region stays, builds, and contributes. What we have achieved together as messy, frustrating, and painful as it is far outweighs what any secessionist state could have built alone. I did not take an oath to a tribe, religion or a region. I took an oath to the 🇳🇬 Federal Republic of Nigeria. That flag covers every square inch of this country, from the creeks of the South-South to the sands of the North-East. And while I wear this uniform, I will defend that unity. We can argue about marginalisation. We can debate restructuring. But wishful thinking about a defeated state from 55 years ago does not help the Nigerian who is struggling today. Build Nigeria, not fantasies of what could have been. 🇳🇬
Vivian Ifeoma@VivianIfeomaOj

If Biafra had succeeded, Africa would have a world power. Biafrans built tanks, jets, and gunboats from scrap. Imagine what Biafra would have achieved as a sovereign nation, imagine a sovereign Biafra.

Today, HE President Bola Tinubu officially endorsed my Deputy Governor, @drobafemihamzat , as the APC candidate for the 2027 Lagos gubernatorial election. Femi has been a reliable partner and seeing him receive the President’s backing is a bold statement of trust, confidence and assurance by our leader, that he is truly the best man for the job. I have no doubt that the vision for a greater Lagos we started together will have the leadership it needs to continue. There is still much to be done but the path ahead for Lagos is clear.

EFCC's Troubling Revelation on Our Students. The worrisome statement by the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) that 6 out of every 10 Nigerian university students are involved in “419” is deeply troubling and must not be taken lightly. Nigeria already has a very limited number of students in higher institutions, estimated at 2 to 2.5 million. If indeed about 60% of them, roughly 1.4 million young people, are involved in fraud, then we are not just facing a crime issue; we are confronting a serious moral and systemic failure. The question we must ask ourselves is: what has brought us to this level? Who are the role models these students are looking up to?. What values are they learning from society? We must understand that young people become what they consistently see. When a system appears to reward wrongdoing, when integrity is not upheld, and when those in leadership are associated with allegations of forgery and dishonesty without consequence, it sends a dangerous message. It suggests that hard work does not matter, and that results, by any means, are acceptable. These points clearly point to a collapse of moral values. As Socrates rightly said, “An unexamined life is not worth living.” Nigeria must now examine itself. This is not about condemning our young people. It is about accepting that leadership sets the tone. If we do not demonstrate integrity at the top, we cannot expect it at the bottom. We must urgently rebuild our value system, enforce accountability without bias, and create an environment where honesty, hard work, and discipline are rewarded. That is the only sustainable path to securing the future of our nation. A new Nigeria is POssible! -PO
