Years ago, Musk made a huge deal about how Starship will be profitable beyond conventional rockets because of its reusability. So far, they haven’t been able to land a single starship. As for booster landings, they’ve got 3/12. Even by their own standards, barely 60% reliability.

@SciGuySpace The Starship production pipeline is full and will complete roughly 10 more ships and about half that number of boosters this year, so, if something goes wrong, it will not be a major setback, unless the launch stand is destroyed

Interesting update for flight 12 per spacex. Ship will carry 22 Starlink simulators, and the last two will have cameras payload will be about 44 tons on this flight.

Splashdown of both vehicles (As suspected) 22 starlink simulators. The last 2 will scan the ships heatshield. The white tiles simulate missing tiles for the scanning. 1 single tile has been removed. The ship will also land on 1 engine. 3 - > 2 - > 1
