@THENEWOmegan This speech makes me think about how Sega said Nega doesn't have a doctorate. He has the technical brilliance, scientific genius, and mechanical skill, but not the legally certified title of "dr." like the predecessors he refers to here. I always wondered what the story is there.

Something I find interesting about Eggman Nega is that he’s a monster. Yet despite that he still seeks approval from the people he thinks are below him. He wants recognition but despises humanity. And the more he hates, the less capable he becomes of receiving genuine connection.

@LlennoxYt Not in Forces tho. He was always mean to the rookie for no reason at all.

I haven’t talked about it much recently, but Vector is such a cool character. His characterization in Knuckles’ Chaotix is FANTASTIC even though no dialogue is ever exchanged in game. I feel like he’s the one character Sonic Team always gets right in every game he appears in

@MaritheKity Perhaps he saw the Master Emerald as a back up plan in case things didn’t go well. And things didn’t go well in 3.

Absurdly funny to me that Sonic 3's opening cutscene in Origins completely breaks the plot in half considering a chunk of the game happening hinges on Eggman not knowing the Master Emerald's exact location until the end of Lava Reef
