@Sir_SR Pink and white but is it an iPhone vs android thing? Low light is strange. I just painted my hallway in Farrow and Ball ‘pigeon’. It’s a clear greenish grey in daylight but in artificial or low light it’s a totally undefinable colour. The brain can’t make it out!

@xandvt @KateRaworth Absolutely agree with this. I’ve got a beautiful light carbon machine, smooth gear changes, excellent tyres, no puncture in 6 years. It looks horrendous. Clashing orange bar tape with pink highlights, ugly bell, mudguards etc. Nobody wants it 😉

@KateRaworth I covered my bike with tape and then sprayed it matt-brown (wheels, tyres, frame everything) and I have a ratty plastic bag on the seat. It looks truly awful but it’s a decent hybrid that I leave everywhere and last survived 14 years in London and NYC.

Cycling Twitter - advice please! In the past week bike thieves have twice tried to pinch my bike from busy streets in broad daylight - either by torquing a chain lock or (almost) sawing through a heavy D lock. What secure lock do you recommend? Many thx!
