@SuppServDirect @transportgovuk There's a massive difference between "Well Maintain Roads" as a Code of Practice to what the law states. Courts are now not simply accepting Highways Authorities internal policies as a defence. Looking more boardly at the law and history of the road.

Out of interest, how long will it take from reporting a potentially dangerous pothole, to inspecting it?
Many councils take OVER A FORTNIGHT!

@WNhighways have failed massively with regards to this Pothole. It was reported back in February with no inspection carried out until now. Although in the carriageway it should have footway intervention criteria. It's between to drop crossing points.

@WNhighways carry out emergency Pothole repairs after month of these deep defects being left. However leave a deep Pothole at same location, WHY? TM in place road closed so 15 mins more to fix it. #Madness wasting taxpayers money! Manor Rd Brackley @kiergroup

@VisTran @WestNorthants @mrpotholeuk Within @WNhighways literature, they state that newly redressed roads are a skid risk, yet totally ignore scree and debris around potholes they’ll consciously nurture for up to 26 weeks.
40% of junction crashes have scree present, yet @NorthantsPolice state it less than 2%, lies?

I surveyed Halse Road yesterday as part of a photo shoot, @WestNorthants met concerned residents recently, repairing the very worst potholes.
Yet dozens are left, some 8cm deep.
Cars weave, drivers implore repairs!
