Today alongside @Tunde_OD we visited Malawi’s maximum security prison and squared off against their top championship players. Over the last several years under the leadership of @Susan_GOC chess sets from @thegiftofchess have been donate to every prison across the country and a team of volunteer coaches helped provide instruction. This year for the 1st time, with the support of @dadazchess, a team of prisoners from Malawi competed in the @FIDE_chess Intercontinental Prison Championships that includes teams from across the world. The main highlight from speaking to the players in the prison program is that the next move will be there best move and until there is checkmate there are still best moves to play. According to people familiar with the program. The re-entry rate to prisons after being released has significant reduced for those members of the chess team.

Missing the deadline may move you to a later pool, delaying your progress. There are 3 submission levels. After completing all required steps, you press Submit, and your status changes to In Review. Phase 3: Verification Process This is the last stage - your application will be reviewed carefully.
