My heart is broken. She died clutching her son. She held on to him and to hope till the very end. He died clutching his mom. In complete trust. Complete surrender. I am crying. Their smiles will haunt me forever. She was wearing life jacket. They say others were saved. Why did this mother and child perish? In India we equate rivers with mothers. No. @MamataOfficial and @AITCofficial lost the SLP against HC order on counting supervisor matter. Here is what SC said. "This Court does not find any illegality for appointing counting supervisor and counting assistant from the Central Government/Central PSU employee instead of State Government employee, It hardly matters if he is central govt nominee or not. It is to subjective satisfaction of ECI. Your counting agents will be there and so as others. Then counting assistant, counting supervisor and micro-observer who is a Central government officer. We cannot hold that this notification is contrary to the regulation since one is a central government officer but the others are not said that they cannot be central government employee. To choose wholly from one pool cannot be said to be incorrect"

Nothing wrong if he claims it. It was him on ground hence the job finished in within timeline. Else this would have been like Bengaluru Tumkur highway, where the work is going on for last 10 years. Also, when the road floaded during the work, every one blamed Simha and said he is responsible for the road and he didnot do the job right. If you blame him for the mistake then you need credit him for the success !!

ಇವತ್ತು DCM ಡಿ ಕೆ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರ ಜೊತೆ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ದಕ್ಷಿಣದ ಹಲವಾರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದೆ. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಕಾರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಸುವಾಗ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ಪದೇ ಪದೇ ಫೋನ್ ಬರುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿದಾಗ, “ಇವತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ಮಗಳ ಡೆಲಿವರಿ. ನಾನು ತಾತ ಆಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ” ಎಂದರು ಒಂದು ಕಡೆ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಸಂತೋಷದ ಕ್ಷಣ. ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಕಡೆ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ. ಆದರೂ ಅವರು ಫ್ಲೈಓವರ್ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆ, ಸ್ಕೈವಾಕ್ ಶಂಕುಸ್ಥಾಪನೆ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಎಲ್ಲ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗಿಯಾದರು.
