I have been spending a lot of time trying to figure out where I “fit” as a Physical Therapist. My mind keeps gravitating to the idea of creating a safe space for Physical Therapists who quite literally don’t “fit” the standard image of PT.
If you are a physical therapist, I need you to keep your patients OUT of the #EmergencyDepartment when possible.
You can help triage patients to ensure they are getting the right care.
Do you know how to help patients know where/when to go?
We can teach you.

#pttwitter I have a friend of my brother’s that failed the #NPTE twice. Looking for companies or people you rec for tutoring. Smart kid and misses only by a few point each time. This would be in addition to the scorebuilders, Therapy Ed, PEAT exams etc.
@TPP_MD I know of a patient who received blood during surgery after a trauma. He asked for the blood transfusion to be reversed in case the donor had been vaccinated
Hey #medtwitter have you had patients refuse blood because,
“Nanobots are in the blood of those who received the government mandated vaccine. We would rather forfeit our lives than get blood with potential nanobots”
Asking for a friend… (how common is this thought process??)
Please @taylorswift13, I am begging for Foxboro tickets! Healthcare worker and verified fan who wasn’t able to get tickets. Budget was $300 but can’t afford the reseller prices because of student loans 😭
A family member has been in acute rehab for the last 2 weeks and I can't tell you how much I appreciate physical therapists. And occupational therapists. Y'all are doing the Lord's work.
Thanks @MBTA for the 65 bus blowing past the bus stop, where I was standing and waving, to go through the green light instead. Now I have to pay for an uber to get to work on time because the next bus doesn’t come for 20 minutes
@DPT_Nechvatal@TheEDDPT@RGriffithDPT I went to Northeastern, so maybe on campus? APTA MA hosts their annual conference just outside the city at a hotel in Norwood
@SurretteTaylor Keep windows to common areas open. Make a Corsi Rosenthal box or get an air filter that filters particles the size of covid particles. Roommate should mask too. I've read that Listerine can kill virus in the throat. Good luck!
