We successfully completed our Pre-AGM conference in Gulu under the theme “Biodiversity conservation and restoration- Land,Water and construction professionals’ role in conserving for the present and future Generations” It reminds members that every boundary mapped, every plan approved, and every valuation conducted has an environmental implication. However, conservation alone is not enough, we must also focus on restoration. Degraded lands, drained wetlands, and polluted water bodies must be rehabilitated. #GlobalSurveyorsDay

We held our Global surveyors day celebrations in Gulu and carried out several activities throughout the day We held a memorial match to honor our fallen comrades RSU Judith Angwech and Rev. Canon Patrick Acema around Gulu city. The day ended with several football matches that gathered several participants of surveyors with in the region #GlobalSurveyorsDay

Earlier Today, the @UNABSECPresidnt , Mrs. Kiara Binta Nkuranga, met with Student Leaders of Makerere Engineering Society (MES) to discuss key areas of collaboration between UNABSEC and MES. The discussions focused on research and development, capacity building, internships and industrial training, student outreach programs, career guidance, and various professional development opportunities.
