@AuthorGFAllen I once read 3 books in a weekend. I wish I could do it more, but life and now working on my own books make it impossible.

Do people actually exist who can stay in all day and read a book from cover to cover?

I’ve been deep in writing (and life) these past few months. Almost done with draft two. Next step: forget it exists for a few weeks… then dive into edits.

@rumilyrics Because is a reflection of who you are as a person, not about the others. What others do is their business.

@stephenRB4 12 hours. It was after a week of working on average 16-18 hour days. By the end of the week I was nearly dead.

@NatalieO73314 What I want to do is have the ability to easily pull all the dialog by a single character, so I can ensure their voice is the same throughout. I haven't found a tool that can do it, that can allow me to label each dialog and then pull a report by label.

@R_S_Russo Collector and book worm. I can't stop buying books. No matter how much I read I don't think I'll ever finish everything I own.

I’d say I’m a book collector (I have far too many books that I haven’t read). Which type are you?

What scenes are the hardest and easiest for you to write? Hardest for me: Drawn out battle scenes. Takes me forever to write because I'm trying to keep the action going. Easiest: Dialogue. I trained on Gilmore Girls, Tolkien and Buffy lmao. Dialogue is my jam.

@bendolce1 @blotWitch I do something similar for my outline, but I do scenes as rows and plotlines as columns. Other columns include: plants, story day, weather, location(s), key characters, secondary characters

@blotWitch I use a spreadsheet to make a plot grid. Chapters are rows, and the various plotlines are the columns. I put all the major events points into the grid, and it gives me a nice organized way to remember what should be going on when. Even if I haven't touched the story in a while.

I am having such a hard time remembering all the smaller details in this story. I need to hire someone just to listen to me talk about this book (or these books) so I can pinpoint any plot holes and keep track of the story as it goes. 😅 How do y'all with big books stay organized?
