🚨 On Memorial Day, NJ Gov. Mikie Sherrill showed up at the Newark ICE facility (Delaney Hall) demanding entry… and got denied. Federal agents and DHS called it a “political stunt” amid protests, Antifa flags, and a hunger strike by detainees. Protesters even chanted “Let Sherrill in!” outside the locked gates. This clearly shows who really holds the power on immigration: the federal government. ICE and DHS control these facilities. State politicians cannot override federal immigration enforcement. Kentucky mother hides a camera in her nonverbal autistic son's hair after suspecting he was being abused at elementary school. Tiphanee Lee says she suspected something was off when she received complaints about her son's behavior at school. Lee decided to take matters into her own hands and put a small camera in her son's dreads. When Lee reviewed the footage, she heard noises while her son's head moved around as a staff member accosted him. "While this was happening there was adults in the room who did nothing to stop it. This is unacceptable," Tiphanee said. The incident is reportedly under investigation.

Are we at the point where everyone needs to wear body cams just to hold people accountable? Abuse, lies, and neglect happen everywhere - not just in schools. Doctors withholding care over personal grudges. Professionals defrauding clients. It’s rampant because there’s rarely clear proof. Body cam footage would change that. Real evidence. Real accountability. I’d happily wear one 24/7 to protect myself and make sure people are held liable for the damage they cause.
