In a backyard shed untouched for 7 years, two German Shepherds suddenly went wild—barking and digging frantically under the old shed door as if their lives depended on it. Their family cautiously opened the door and discovered not one, but two tiny baby kittens inside. It was time for a kitten rescue! The little ones were in rough shape with eye problems, but the family sprang into action, getting them warm, safe, and comfortable before delivering them to their forever home. 🚨 SAVE SNUGGLES: Court Orders Euthanasia of Military Veteran’s Family Dog Snuggles is a 2-year-old livestock guardian dog belonging to a military veteran and his family in Tucson, Arizona. He lives with his mom, dad, and two young children who love him dearly and see him as their protector and best friend. Snuggles is now sitting in Pima Animal Care Center after a court ordered euthanasia ruling following a bite incident that occurred on his family’s property while he was on guard duty. He has now been sitting in the shelter for AMOST 8 MONTHS away from the family he has known his entire life. According to the family, this was Snuggles’ first bite incident. The bite victim was the children’s grandmother, and she is also fighting to save Snuggles and bring him home. The family believes Snuggles is being misunderstood for doing what guardian dogs are bred to do: protect their home and family. Snuggles is not a monster. He is a working guardian dog with a family desperately fighting for his life. This story triggers me, but not in the way a lot of people understand it. You've got a veteran who did an important job in a shitty war, working partly in the shadows, who moves with his family to find peace and brings the dog that helps him find peace. And his neighbors decide they don't like him, or how he lives or the dog or whatever. The point is they've got him and his family under surveillance, watching everything they do, posting it on social media and filing police reports for every petty grievance. Realize here you're dealing not just with a war veteran and the potential for PTSD. You're also dealing with someone who did national security work, under a clearance, and you've got him under surveillance. That's a threat. I don't care why you're doing it. You're exposing personal details that bad people can exploit. This is unacceptable. I won't accept it. No one should accept it. I don't give a shit about your petty grievances. Mind your own damn business and stop it.

This is absolutely unacceptable! A service dog in a kill shelter is sickening. If anyone knows a veteran that needs a service dog this is a chance to get a great companion. This dog should not spend another day in a kill shelter. Repost this everywhere and get her a veteran!

@GinneySan I believe we have. For me, it’s hard to believe when nothing is in writing. (I have a STRONG distrust in the government…and people in general). But the DA told us that she has no intention of euthanizing Lucy. We have to take her word for it.

We have never wanted to expose or destroy our neighbors, and while we knew the truth would eventually reveal itself, we MUST let Jesus take this. We do not need to heap the coals ourselves. We need to know where to put our efforts. And as far as the DA goes, please, I beg you—for the sake of Lucy—be kind. As my husband’s message has been through this entire #savelucy movement, SHOW GRACE. We do not answer suffering with more suffering. “Do not repay evil for evil or insult for insult, but on the contrary, repay evil with blessing.” — 1 Peter 3:9 As Veterans, especially on Memorial Day, my husband and I know deeply what real suffering and sacrifice in this world look like. It does NOT mean we stop speaking truth. But we must stay focused on the goal: bringing our sweet girl Lucy home. That is the prize. We want to become a resource so this never happens to another family again. Friends, be warriors today. Be brave. But be discerning and USE YOUR WORDS WISELY. Sometimes the loudest and most effective thing you can do is stand down… and LET GOD fight the battle. Your support, your prayers, your encouragement, and your financial contributions for the long legal battles ahead have already been more powerful than any tossed stone ever could be. The neighborhood bullies that started this are digging in trying to damage and hurt this family even more. Heartbreaking.
