In Bengal, we revere Lokamata Rani Rashmoni for her immense contributions. Today, @AmitShah openly disrespected her, and the sentiments of 10 crore people of Bengal, by mispronouncing her name as “Rani Rashmati.” Those who cannot even utter the name of a towering figure of the Bengali Renaissance with the dignity and respect she commands speak of building “Sonar Bangla.” She founded the Dakshineswar Kali Temple, used as a backdrop for BJP’s optics, yet they fail to show even basic respect towards her legacy. This is the BJP’s reality. Contempt for Bengal’s icons, its history, and its people. These Bangla-birodhi, bohiragoto zamindars have no regard for our identity, and they will be rejected with the contempt they have so thoroughly earned.

With the people as my strength and democracy as my path, I stepped forward today to file my nomination.
Everything I have worked for has always been centred around the well-being of my people. It is their trust, their affection, and their support that continues to guide this journey to protect Bengal’s progress and to stand firm against the Bangla-Birodhi forces that seek to take it backwards.
The love and blessings I received today were a powerful reminder of what we stand for; a Bengal that chooses unity, dignity, and development. In Bengal, every caste, every creed, every religion stands equal and that is our biggest strength and our identity. And today, this is a fight for democracy, for your identity, for your home, and for your rights, a fight we must win together.
I urge every citizen of Bengal to support our Trinamool Congress candidates across the state and strengthen this collective resolve for continued progress.

TMC has released its manifesto, but they did not name it in Bangla language, they have called it "Istehar" instead. Imagine how they are changing the very identity of Bengal. Remember, in 1905, communal forces issued the "Red Ishtehar." Hindus were massacred soon after. The TMC wants to remind us of that history. Here, a "Nirmam" government is openly threatening that people of a particular religion will make life difficult for Hindus.
