From the moment you begin Assassin's Creed: Origins you're cast into its brutal world of souls-like combat, RPG loot/mechanics and gorgeous landscapes peppered with Egyptian architecture.
You either love it or hate it. Being a Souls guy myself, I appreciate what it tries to do even if I find the detachment from classic AC combat initially jarring.
The game is so much fun once you take the time to learn it ⚔️

GoW 2018 is actually replayable with actual depth to its mechanics. It doesn’t have micro tiny details tho that clearly are more important in a game. Clearly.
