When Pujya @Gurudev Ji transformed my guilt into a divine Guru tale :
Let me share another soul-stirring story of our beloved Pujya Gurudev Ji. We had just concluded a blissful event in his divine presence—everything unfolded perfectly, or so we thought. Gurudev’s boundless compassion made even the smallest imperfections feel embraced.
It was time for Gurudev to depart for another city, and we were en route to the airport. Suddenly, I received a call: a few international devotees were waiting at the airport, hoping to accompany Gurudev in his chopper. However, their travel documents hadn’t cleared, and I was asked to inform Gurudev. Upon hearing this, Gurudev simply smiled and said, “Let’s see… something will happen at the airport.” His words, as always, carried a quiet assurance.
Once we reached the airport, Gurudev was about to board and gently asked, “Have you loaded all my luggage into the chopper?” I confidently replied, “Yes, Gurudev.” But he asked again, “Are you sure?” That moment stirred something within me—I sensed something was amiss. I quickly offered to double-check while Gurudev proceeded toward the chopper.
To my dismay, I discovered that two or three of Gurudev’s bags were still in another car trailing behind us. That vehicle had mistakenly gone to the international terminal a few kilometers away. Meanwhile, Gurudev was seated in the chopper, waiting patiently. The Russian devotees were still stuck, their paperwork unresolved. I was overwhelmed with guilt—my oversight had caused Gurudev to wait.
With tears in my eyes and urgency in my steps, I rushed to retrieve the bags and informed Gurudev of the situation. He had already been waiting for nearly 40 minutes. I couldn’t forgive myself.
As I returned with the bags and handed them to the chopper crew, something miraculous happened. The international devotees came running toward me, their faces lit with hope. “Is Gurudev still here?” they asked breathlessly. Their papers had just been cleared—they could now travel with him.
I nodded, still tearful. “Yes, Gurudev is here… and the chopper is still waiting—because of my mistake. Please go quickly!”
They boarded, and I stood there, humbled and emotional, remembering Gurudev’s words:
“Something will happen at the airport.”
Indeed, something divine did ♥️🙏
