[OFFICIAL] Riot are removing the LP cap at the top of the solo queue ladder: "We expect most regions to reach peak LP’s of around 3000 and in some of the top end cases, close to 4000" Lead Game Designer Phroxzon also noted that they are evaluating player feedback to potentially reset the ladder: "We hear the concerns and are taking them seriously - At the same time, there are a lot of players who will find it very frustrating for all their progress to be reset and while some players will be happy we reset it, others will not, so we’re continuing to evaluate"

Can we just get video games to be fucking video GAMES? Why does everything have to be a testing bed for shitty nvidia prototypes? Who gives a fuck that it looks photorealistic. All these movie "games" are getting annoying. Make shit fun instead, holy shit. Max has great points here, many people people got tricked into thinking it looks good but if you look at the overall picture it actually looks like Shit, this Ai Horseshit doesn't know where the light source is supposed to be and it just makes up random features of characters. This is literally what I was talking about. You see all those companies who are excited for this kind of this? That are defending it and so on? Yeah, these are the companies that no longer make video games. They don't care about the art, the effort, the work. It's all about pushing a product. That's it. And the best part? They'll still charge you full AAA price for the future pieces of crap they'll release! When the devs won't even need to put in the effort to make a game look good or even optimize it because they just let the stupid AI handle the whole "looking good" part. They will actively put in less and less effort and you KNOW they will... and you'll still be charged full price or more than likely even more. It's the definition of charging more for less. Fuck AAA and fuck this industry. I'm sticking to indies who actually give a shit and want to make video games, not corpo slop products.
