When incumbents start going after upcomers, it's usually the incumbent with the problem.
I didn't really know @kvartalet until I joined their podcast a few weeks ago with the Center party leader.
Went a bit viral.
Liked the moderators, and the office felt more like a good startup than the "we're 100 years old and will tell you what to think" energy you get at most legacy houses.
Ended up subscribing. The digital product is what you'd expect in 2026.
Have been seeing them quoted and reposted everywhere since.
Their op-ed editor @erikhogstrom reached out for a comment on a Saturday, moves fast the way founders do.
DN knows Kvartal and the likes will keep winning. That's what this is really about. Innovator's dilemma.

AI is why political leadership actually matters right now. LLMs went from chatbot to single-player to multiplayer agentic work. When context and coordination are solved, the only limits are energy and compute. Most white collar tasks are already automatable. Full product cycles, finance, marketing. The owners will automate it, bc why not? The machine doesn’t call in sick. ALL white collar jobs change. Many disappear in their current form. Value concentrates with owners. Income tax revenue collapses. Then add robotics. Same story for blue collar. We either find new meaningful things to do with that time, or we’re heading somewhere very uncomfortable. The politicians labeling technologists instead of understanding won’t be ready to navigate what’s coming. And trust me, it’s coming fast.

Nu är vi i ett nytt men tydligt läge i svensk politik. De två regeringsalternativen är nu klara. Vänsterpartiet har fattat beslutet att rösta nej till alla regeringar som de själva inte ingår i, precis som MP också har gjort.
En S-V-MP-regering efter valet skulle bli den mest vänstervridna någonsin. Det skulle vara riktigt skadligt för Sverige. Mot en rödgrön vänsterregering kommer vi ställa en blågul med fyra partier som både kan och vill samarbeta och bilda en majoritetsregering som håller den kurs som vi har stakat ut.
För att underlätta för väljarna att jämföra de två regeringsalternativen utmanar därför Moderaterna det vänstra regeringsalternativets tre ledande företrädare på debatter:
Statsminister Ulf Kristersson utmanar Socialdemokraternas partiledare på debatt om riktningen för Sverige och de två regeringsalternativen.
Jag utmanar Vänsterpartiets ledare Nooshi Dadgostar på debatt om den ekonomiska politiken.
Justitieminister Gunnar Strömmer utmanar Miljöpartiets språkrör på debatt om brottsbekämpningen.

Center Party leader: "Tech bros praising SD are wrong" She invited me. Knew my views. Sat across from me without pushing back. Now I'm a "tech bro praising SD." Fine. But SD was right about immigration. Putting a label on the person saying it doesn't change that.
