so you're telling me spirit airlines was in trouble, knew they had to do something, and attempted to participate in the free market by allowing jetblue to acquire them. the government then stepped in and said, “no, you’re not allowed to participate in the free market, " denying the acquisition. so then spirit, knowing that they were about to fail, seeks a government bailout, only to be told, "no, you must participate in the free market” to which they were denied participation in. this doesn’t seem like free market capitalism to me.

Rolled Credits on Crimson Desert today on stream ⚔️ 189 hours played ⚔️ All 77 bosses defeated A lot of thoughts and a very special game. A game that is flawed but so addictive. A masterpiece of a map and beautiful to boot. Super ambitious game mechanics-wise Read more 👇 It doesn't always deliver with the million game mechanics it's throwing at you but when it does it's truly addictive. The combat, skills and gear progression is so well done, although Palmar pills and bring able to hold as many heals as you want essentially, does mess with boss balancing. Controls can be clunky and maybe they were trying too much. There's definitely a learning curve with the combat and it does start flowing after some practice but puzzles and moving objects can be a chore. The story I don't actually think as bad most people make out, what is lacking however is the characters or lack of character moments, I didn't find myself really caring that much about any character. The faction quests and quests in general was probably one of my favourite things because you had to explore and engage with the world to open up questlines. You felt rewarded for exploring. Puzzles as is so often the case are hit and miss but a lot of them were satisfying and generally well done. (Some were frustrating for sure tho) Overall the main takeaway is that Crimson Desert doesn't respect your time but it's worth it!

I call this boss strategy in Crimson Desert the ♦️Red Ring of Death♦️ That's because if you try to use it, it causes the game mechanics to fundamentally break on you and in some instances, fight against you. This is one of the strangest things I've seen in the game. Let me explain (Minor spoilers)⬇️ In Chapter 12, there's a boss fight where you have to destroy these gigantic cannons, and the only way you can do that is if you mount Blackstar and blow them up. The thing is, if you travel on foot you can technically catch the cannon fire with Nature's Snare and throw them back. Things start to get weird though because the cannon fire will sperg out in all different directions if you try. Not only that, but if you try this repeatedly, the zeppelins protecting the cannons seemingly catch onto this and blow you up. Funny enough, if you're smart you can evade the zeppelin bombardments by circling around the mountain sides to reach close enough to the cannons. So I tried to blow up the zeppelins with the cannon fire, but to no avail. What's worse is that I thought "maybe I can hit them if I mount Blackstar first until the boss health appears, dismount and then use Nature's Snare in midair. Nope. It's almost as if the game KNOWS you'll try something clever, and will kill you if you dismount for too long. And if you try it too many times? It appears to pick up on that, and will kill you THE MOMENT you dismount from Blackstar. 💀 It's kind of a shame, but also funny in a way. The game has such amazing mechanics all around and there are different ways you can accomplish various quests because of how dynamic everything this. You see glimpses of that very thing here but are presented with a number of artificial walls that can't be broken, or the game will break you. All in all though, I had fun testing out how things work here. Pearl Abyss put a lot of thought into this but it would have been awesome to try to finish this quest in a way other than a scripted dragon fight. 👍
