Heres it plugged into my mini hotplate: The plate draws about 20V, where it linearly draws power until it plateaus at about 42W (2.1A). You can also see the graph drop immediately to around 0.1W when the plate turns off. Fun stuff!

Quick lil side project time... A friend had one of those USB-C power meter devices lying around and wanted to make one of my own rather than buying one OTS! Features: INA238 Power Monitor + STM32G030 + SSD1315 Display (0.3V-48V, 5A) Schematic ready to go, layout next 👀

CO2 puck boards have arrived from @HQ_NextPCB! They sponsored the project and I'm genuinely impressed with the speed. From uploading the files to delivery in Belgium took only 16 days, even with some niche sensors they had to source. Looking forward to test them when Im back🤞

CO2 puck has been assembled! @HQ_NextPCB sent some preview images for inspection. Looking good 🤞 That lux sensor looks incredible, can't wait to stick it under a microscope.

the startup beep is an I2C bus scan (long beeps indicate devices found), funny way to debug I2C peripheral connections lol

@willreil FPC connector (FPC-05FB-30PH20) is on the board itself, so assembly is just clipping in the cable. Went this route over modules to save space and remove any mechanical constraints (no standoffs, no added height) but it requires some driving circuitry on the board
