Indirectly maybe - a perfectly accurate model would be easier to tune into a club tracer Primary issue is on the downswing there are gaps due to FPS. Algorithm has to fill in the blanks where the data doesn’t exist. Those blanks that need to be filled are where the accuracy vs smoothness comes into play. So even with a perfect model, a 30fps video is going to have a lot of guesswork that needs to happen by the algorithm connecting all the dets

@asaio87 Do you really code review all the lines of code AI generates? I have AI writing some super complex audio software and I haven't needed to check it even once in 7 months. I just make sure the product works and so far I have not had to look at any code.

It's painfully obvious to me, after 12 years of shipping production code, that: We are massively overestimating AI and massively underestimating it at the same time. → 96% of the code I write today is AI-generated → but I review every single line like my job depends on it → the developers who win won't be the ones who prompt the fastest but be the ones who know what "good" looks like Here's what nobody wants to admit: AI didn't make engineering easier. It made judgment the entire job. The bottleneck was never typing. It was knowing what to build, what to throw away, and what will break at 3am six months from now. Juniors are shipping 10x more code. And introducing 10x more bugs they can't explain. The skill isn't writing anymore. It's reading. Reviewing. Saying no. Taste is the new 10x. The engineers who treated coding as typing are panicking. The ones who treated it as thinking have never been more valuable. Adapt accordingly.

Before Claude code existed (or i knew about it) I was wrapping my projects into one large file so could easily feed it to the llm. I discovered using ast like this in that process. I was trying to use it to compress and find relevant info to put into the 50k context window at the time

Increasingly, I believe companies may need to be rebuilt from the ground up, where you have a single timeline of all observability + product metrics + file changes laid out in a retrievable system, like Datadog + Posthog + Google Drive + Slack (really unified filesystem of Claude Code chats + Codex chats). This might be the new data foundation for any and all companies to maximize AI. Needs to be rebuilt because keeping track of diffs on existing system basically impossible to produce longitudinal information on decisions and rollbacks, something coding agent storage companies are actively trying to figure out, but this should extend to businesses as a whole. Highly skeptical existing businesses will adopt this though because it means overhauling everything about their instrumentation and business data, but I think businesses built on this foundation probably can execute 100x better and faster

Day 1 of building GTA 6. Still feels fake typing that out. Upgraded to Claude Max 20x just for this. Spent a couple hours getting the whole project structured and pushed to the repo. Sandbox is up and running. No studio, no publisher. Just whoever shows up. We picked Godot on purpose: it's community-owned, so nobody can pull an EPIC on us later and rewrite the deal once we're invested. The goal: beat the real GTA 6 to launch. Ambitious, probably stupid, doing it anyway. If you can model, code, build levels, or write music and lore, come join. Looking for a couple contributors to cook this. Time to cook. Gaussian Splats are now live in Apple Maps, across all platforms. Seems limited to selected areas , and the rendering looks like a mix of photos, meshes, and splats. Easily one of the biggest Apple Maps updates in a while. Looks super cool.
