Things would be a lot different if we gave other QBs the same grace.

@ScottKacsmar He played for Dan Reeves are we being serious. Next to Marty ball he was one of the most notoriously conservative coaches of all time. I’m a Dolphins fan I watched Shula mellow with age and allow Dan to grow into the player he became. If he had Mike longer numbers look different.

This answer is fair. When just comparing AS a receiver, the numbers back Smith easily. But Toney is a lot more versatile than Smith. You can pop him into a ton of situations, and he'll usually be able to pick up yardage for you. The two have entirely different styles of play.

I covered John Elway. I would never overlook or underestimate him. He is arguably the most talented quarterback in history. Nothing he couldn’t do.

@BrettKollmann No one had more arm talent than Elway. And I’m a Dolphins fan so Marino is my guy. And I mean no one. Dan and Aaron are in that next tier but when we talking pure arm talent it’s Elway and then everyone else.

No disrespect to John Elway but the best throw of his career (that 50 yard TD vs the Seahawks) might not even crack Aaron’s top five.
