@FrankieWard Crucial and Sandisk are probably good companies to look at for out of the box external SSDs, but I have also found success with a standard Gen4 SSD and an external adapter like this so could be an option - amzn.eu/d/0dicwTPV

My girlfriend said to me that she can't nap because of her new sleep schedule, assured me she wasn't going to nap and is now currently napping. I am choosing to not wake her up, we shall see if this was the correct decision or not

I love coding. Working on my game seemed like an incredibly daunting and complex task, but each small task I complete, the clearer the final project becomes. I've only got the level loading system shell implemented but I can see how I'm going to break it down into small steps

It appears that the day before I fly back to the UK, my body has decided to do it's semi-regular thing of deciding that I am going to be awake until 5AM for absolutely no reason. I have been lying in bed for 3 hours just thinking 😩

One perk of being able to repair electronics is that you can buy cheap stuff on Ebay that just needs a HDMI port replaced and you can get it for a quarter of the price Just got a cheap AV Receiver this way and it's absolutely fantastic!

Finally finished @UnityCodeMonkey's Turn Based Strategy course on @GameDevTV and I'm buzzing! I can feel the building blocks of a game starting to appear! Just like with streaming, I have the same feeling of wanting to go all in on game development but I have to stay realistic🤣

@nuttylmao Have you experienced it ever doing any sort of crackling in the recordings? My voicemeeter setup is always making me do loads of stuff to stop audio being botched and I would love to have something that doesn't need me to fiddle with making sure all the Virtual Lines are 44KHz 😩

Big warning — if you use Wave Link 2.0, you will need to redo all your settings. I actually recommend uninstalling Wave Link 2.0 entirely and fully committing if you really want to experience the new beta to its fullest.

Hi streamer who uses Voicemeeter/Sonar and is still pretending they actually like using it. Elgato Wave Link is now free. There's no catch, it's actually free. You can use any microphone you want with it. It's only a beta atm but anyone can download it right now. This is going to be the new standard for splitting up your audio for your stream. You'll never going to want to use Voicemeeter/Sonar again (unless you're a nerd who likes arguing on Twitter). The UI has been completely overhauled — there's a lot you need to relearn — so I've made a brand new setup guide if you want to try it out.
