Decided to debunk #flatearth on my walk this morning. I live in Santa Barbara, California. Which has a beautiful view out to the Channel Islands. I live near a cliff with easy beach access and simply took pictures at the top and bottom of the stairs.

Incorrect. This is just something NaSA fan Boyd like to tell each other at night. NASA actually predicts zero eclipses. They depend on Fred espenak who specifically used the ancient metonic cycles to math out the patterns. Eclipses have absolutely zero to do with heliocentricity.

Literally none of that proves a globe and it’s actually embarrassing that you think it does. The globe was literally made from the sky, after flat earth measurements. If you cannot accept and acknowledge that fact, this conversation is pointless. Hey look it took us hundreds of years of moving the goalposts to make a globe theory by reverse engineering the sky and it kept not working. Now if we look at the sky and it matches the model then it proves that model is objective reality! Dumb.

Leave it to the globies to come up with the brilliant idea of traveling to Antarctica on a guided tour to look at the sky in order to determine the shape of the ground 🙄 How about one mixed group departs from SA and the other from Australia to meet in the middle? Everyone can still observe whatever they want to in the sky to their heart’s content. How is this idea off the top of my head not a 1000x better way to prove the shape of the ground we’d be walking on? We can freely and privately explore Antarctica right Craig?
