@pjhere It’s a sansui gaming monitor but it has nice adaptive sync and colors for design + yes initially faced scaling issues but I just boosted icon, menu bar and font sizing in a profile for extended display

@ZacharyDash I'm always having to switch windows between multiple vs code tabs, design tools, simulator, etc. It's nice to have everything visible at once for easier work

I'm no longer with @risechain btw and March 31 was my last day. You'll probably hear more about this from the team soon. It was great fun and I'm quite glad that I had the opportunity to work with such a cracked team of builders 🫡🫡 For now, I'm NOT actively looking for new roles. I've got some things in my Notion that I had been wanting to build out for quite some time now. Right now, I'm taking part in @colosseum's hackathon and working solo on a project i'm calling "Agentis". I was initially building a game instead lmao but then I pivoted hard as I got inspired to think bigger. I'm liking the progress I've made so far and I think it's gonna turn out to be an insanelyyy good project More on Agentis soon ;))

one of the under appreciated pieces from the @dwarkesh_sp podcast is the following debate: is this industry is about just the models or about multiple layers of the stack. I personally firmly believe every part of the stack plays a key role. As an example: see the value and energy has unlocked by Openclaw / Hermes over the last few months and people innovating on harnesses/memory/context engineering.

In their defense I did try out Figma make for a while, it was great to get design work started but it didn't keep pace fast enough in an ever evolving workflow, and the recently launched Figma MCP immediately burnt through free usage just in setting up before I got to do anything meaningful with it, so that was DOA in my eyes. I probably do more active daily design work than most founders and I need something that can go from design to production rather instantly, and the claude code native embedded workflows have been the best so far. cc @zoink in case any of this helpful, happy to provide more focused insights too

yea good point. was thinking about it from the perspective that optimizing around the workflow creates better outcomes vs what general purpose models can do on their own which cursor / factory are showing for code, but they were also purpose built for the ai workflow which figma clearly is not

can someone explain to me why everyone thinks an ai lab made up entirely of engineers is going to build a better design product than a company who has lived and breathed the needs of designers for a decade
