And that’s a wrap on my favorite event I’ve attended live all year so far. Double or Nothing was excellent! I was close to not making the trip out to New York for this show, but I’m glad I did. AEW delivered and then some with this PPV! #AEWDoN

@SyphinB @rob_bohanan Nah it was insane, the entire venue was funneled into one ramp that’s 15 feet wide. It was a VERY dangerous situation and they’re fortunate nothing happened. It took essentially an hr just to exit the park. It has nothing to do with AEW. The blame goes of the Park/ MTA.

Double or nothing ended to late and exits are shut down with no train access thanks AEW and Tony Khan its 1am

@prowrestletimes He gets hurt a lot. It’s probably just a relatively minor injury, but you’re right and he’s mostly over on line, but not in person. I like him, but he needs a Neidhart to his Bret or Foley to his Blackmon. Ilyahausen might be needed. Or Sheamus

Not really, the rest of the roster has to go out there and practically shoot fight the guy.. It’s not sustainable and I knew this would happen eventually.

I do agree maybe a tag with Shaemus works Maybe he's just not a fit and TNA/AEW would fit him better currently since his strength is in ring.

@ham_and_eggers As a AEW fan myself, i think this is fair and great critical assessment of the current product. I did appreciate the fact they played pre-match videos of most of the matches tonight to keep the viewer updated on why the match was even happening They gotta nail their weekly show

MJF thankfully regains a title he never should have most. He’s the face of AEW & the biggest talent they have. There is zero reason he should have lost it in the first place. #AEWDoN was a good show. Best one for AEW this year but the knee jerk reactions are the same for every PPV AEW puts on. The PPV’s can be as great as they want but the weekly tv is what draws in viewers. You can watch good to great wrestling at so many different promotions. You have to write compelling weekly tv with good stories & characters for any of this “momentum” to be a real thing. Until Tony can do that, AEW will stay where they are & fail to cut into WWE’s market share.

Question for you guys about PTR videos. My normal creative process is that I usually start making notes for videos in the very first PTR build, then keep changing and adjusting them every build depending on what changes. Then once the RC builds start arriving, that’s usually when I begin properly recording and posting the full overview videos because the systems are normally in their most “complete” state by then. Is that something you prefer, or would you rather see videos as soon as I figure the systems out on PTR? My only concern is that things can change so much during development that some videos end up becoming outdated a few weeks later.

@Gaydos_ It's a experience, isn't it? It's something that really does hang with you man, ive been to multiple shows and ill never forget them. Worth every damn dollar

The Pay-Per-View model is DEAD. Whether you like Triple H’s 5-match cards or not, one thing is clear, traditional PPVs are never coming back. WWE used to stack cards with stars and huge matches because they HAD to sell the event. PPV buys were once the lifeblood of the business. Today? Before a single match even happens, WWE already got paid through Netflix, Peacock, ESPN and massive media rights deals. That’s why storylines move slower, weekly TV matters more, fewer matches make the card, and WWE no longer feels pressured to cram every big match onto one show. That's why they literally had to rename it Premium Live Events because "PPV" no longer rings true. While it’s been great for WWE’s bottom line…whether it’s been great for fans is still heavily debated.
