I don’t know why an active player should be banned from providing a nuanced opinion that’s been shared by others. Tate is supremely talented but was the WR2 at Ohio State with Smith positioned as the WR1. There no guarantee that he can easily transition into the No.1 role because the responsibilities are vastly different when you’re the lead guy. Malik is simply putting that out there because he knows the challenges ahead since he’s been a WR1 in college and the pros. Perspective matters..
