Dear @IncomeTaxIndia & @nsitharamanoffc ,
Yesterday CBDT “extended” the due date by 1 day via a Press Release.
👉 But a press release is not binding in law.
👉 A valid Gazette Notification Number is required.
From 12 AM last night till now, lakhs of returns have been filed on a schema without any notification backing.
This is ridiculous & makes a joke of the law.

ಇನ್ನೂ ಕೆಲವು ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ಮಾನ್ಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ @narendramodi ಅವರ ಜನ್ಮದಿನವನ್ನು #SevaPakhwada2025 ರ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ಆಚರಿಸಲಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ನನ್ನ ಅನುಭವದ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ, ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಮೋದಿಜಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಒಬ್ಬ ಶಕ್ತಿಶಾಲಿ ನಾಯಕರನ್ನಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಕಾಳಜಿಯುಳ್ಳ ಮತ್ತು ಕರುಣೆಯುಳ್ಳ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಕೂಡ ನೋಡುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಬಯಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
ನನ್ನ ಮೊದಲ ಬಜೆಟ್ ಭಾಷಣದ ದಿನವನ್ನು ನಾನು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಮರೆಯಲಾರೆ, ಆದರೆ ಬಹುತೇಕರು ಊಹಿಸುವ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕಲ್ಲ.
ಬಜೆಟ್ ಭಾಷಣ ಮುಗಿಸಿ ಮನೆಗೆ ತಲುಪಿದ ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ನನಗೆ ಒಂದು ಕರೆ ಬಂದಿತ್ತು. ಅದು ಗೌರವಾನ್ವಿತ ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳ @narendramodi ಕರೆ.
ಅವರ ಮೊದಲ ಮಾತುಗಳು ನಿಜವಾದ ಚಿಂತೆಯಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದ್ದವು: “ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ ಏಕೆ?” ನಾನು ಏನು ಹೇಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಯೋಚಿಸುವ ಮುನ್ನವೇ ಅವರು ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ತಮ್ಮ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ವೈದ್ಯರನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳು ನಡೆಯಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ನಾನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಆರೋಗ್ಯವಾಗಿರಲಿ ಎಂದು ಸೂಚಿಸಿದರು.
ಅವರ ಈ ಕಾಳಜಿ ಸಮಯ ಕಳೆದರೂ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಅವರು ಕೆಲವೊಮ್ಮೆ ನೆನಪಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ: “ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೀರಾ? ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಹೇಗಿದೆ?”
ಒಂದು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರವನ್ನು ಮುನ್ನಡೆಸುವವರು, ದೇಶದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಕೋನಕ್ಕೂ ತಲುಪುವ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತಿರುವವರು, ತಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದ್ಯೋಗಿಗಳ ಆರೋಗ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೀಗೆ ನೆನೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಅಸಾಧಾರಣ.
ಜನರು ಗೌರವಾನ್ವಿತ ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ @narendramodi ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಲಿಷ್ಠ, ಗಂಭೀರ ಮತ್ತು ದೃಢನಿಶ್ಚಯದ ನಾಯಕನಾಗಿ ನೋಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಹೌದು, ಅವರು ಅಂತಹವರೇ. ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಅವರ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಕೂಡ ನೋಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ – ಸೌಮ್ಯ, ವಿಚಾರಶೀಲ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನವೀಯ. ಈ ದೃಢತೆಯೂ ಕರುಣೆಯೂ ಒಂದಾಗಿ ಇರುವ ಗುಣವೇ ಅವರನ್ನು ವಿಭಿನ್ನರನ್ನಾಗಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

In a few days time we shall mark Hon. PM @narendramodi’s birthday as a part of #SevaPakhwada2025 . Wish to recall how, based on my experience, I see a strong leader in PM Modi who is caring and compassionate too. The day of my very first budget speech is one I will never forget, though not for the reasons most might expect. I had barely reached home after the Budget speech when my phone rang. It was the Hon'ble Prime Minister. The first words I heard were filled with genuine worry: “Why didn’t you take care of yourself?” Before I could even gather my thoughts, he had already acted. He sent his personal doctor straight to my home, instructing him to run all the necessary tests and make sure I was absolutely fine. What moved me most was that this concern did not fade with time. Even today, every now and then, he reminds me: “Are you looking after yourself? How are you keeping?” For someone who leads a nation, who juggles responsibilities that touch every corner of the country, to remember and worry about the well-being of his colleagues is something extraordinary. People see Hon'ble PM @narendramodi ji as a strong, serious, and determined leader, and yes, he is all of that. But I have also seen another side of him, one that is tender, thoughtful, and humane. Are everyone in the government and agency as ineffective as the company which designed this Portal and System, it certainly seems you lot are much worse than them.

When you issue notification then clearly specify @Infosys was given 2.5 hours just to update one date in utilities and taxpayers were given 21.5 hours to file millions of pending returns and shamelessly write 21.5 hours as we are labours who do not have right to sleep

Compliance portal and Authorities senior alongwith finance ministry making good insult of self by self goal.
24 hour extension just before 12 minute and 2.30 hour maintainance from 12.00 to 2.30

A fake news is in circulation stating that the due of filing ITRs (originally due on 31.07.2025, and extended to 15.09.2025) has been further extended to 30.09.2025.
✅ The due date for filing ITRs remains 15.09.2025.
Taxpayers are advised to rely only on official @IncomeTaxIndia updates.
