@Acyn I actually asked the question first. Here’s the first part that got cut off when Scott got rattled and snapped at me and then Abby came back and asked him again.

As a Black man working every day to build a New Black South, I understand why the people of Memphis felt slighted by recent comments from athletes. What we’re seeing in Memphis isn’t unique. It’s the same reality in Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Atlanta, Jackson, Houston—and places folks don’t always name like Montgomery, St. Louis, Shreveport, and many more. Too often, majority-Black cities in the South are being undermined by Republican leadership at the state level. That’s not opinion—that’s pattern. And if you’re not willing to invest in the Deep South, it doesn’t help to discourage others from investing in our communities either. That needs to be said plainly. Entertainers and athletes have the power to shift conversations in ways local leaders often can’t. With that comes responsibility. My hope is that moments like this don’t divide us—but bring us to more tables, with more clarity, to fight for the progress our people deserve. Accountability is not an attack. If you’re from the south and you agree, comment your city. Share if you care 🦾

BREAKING: In a stunning moment, Fox News just admitted that under Donald Trump's leadership, a pound of beef is now more expensive than the minimum wage. This is insane.

Absolute disaster for the White House on CNN. Prominent US Senator Chris Murphy admits Trump's war ended in total surrender. He confirms Trump accidentally gave Iran complete control of the Strait of Hormuz and their entire nuclear program. A catastrophic failure

Sheesh. I know he's an anti-Muslim racist, Chip Roy, but amazing to see him just say this out loud. It's bad that we might have a "Muslim US Senator." Imagine saying this about a Jewish politician. Or a Black politician. The bigotry is off the charts in the GOP and regularly ignored by the mainstream media.
Acyn@Acyn

Roy: What we are seeing with Piker is an indication of where the Democratic Party is today… Abdul El-Sayed has a real shot at being the fist Muslim US Senator. This is something we are seeing in the significant march of Islam across the US, something that has been concerning to me and a lot of my colleagues..

Get rid of Trump - invoke Art 25 now. He isn't just a danger to Americans but an existential threat to the world. Remove him from office! Invoke Article II, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution now! Why is the US Congress so bloody silent and incompetent? What more does this monster need to do to stop him from committing more genocide? Threatening to wipe Iranian civilisation off the face of the earth should be an actionable war crime.

Iran drops a massive ultimatum. Sky News confirms if Trump attacks, Iran will obliterate Aramco and completely sever the massive pipelines Saudi Arabia uses to bypass the Strait of Hormuz. Washington's reckless war is about to destroy their closest Arab allies.

Dr. John Henrik Clarke on the intellect of Malcolm X: "He was a man, one of the fastest learners that I have ever met in my life. You could give him information and he would read this information back to you, teaching you lessons over and above your instruction to him without offending you. He would speak to several audiences simultaneously using the same words without offending anyone in the audience. He could speak to the reader and the non reader, the college professor and the illiterate, simultaneously, and his message would get across to all of them."

🚨BREAKING: A Native American family in Utah is speaking out after what they say was a complete breakdown of the system inside their own home. They claim an officer showed up with a woman who legally was not supposed to be near the property due to protective orders and instead of verifying anything he allegedly ignored the paperwork crumpled it and forced his way inside. No warrant. No permission. Just escalation.

What is wrong with her? Like seriously. Is she this damned dumb?? For real. The 14th amendment was passed by the "Radical Republicans" of the 1860s. Post slavery amendments: 13th, 14th and 15th. It was to ensure that slaves born here and their progeny were considered full citizens. And would be given equal protections under the law.

This attack will have a huge emotional impact on Iranians. It will stiffen their resolve to resist. What clearer proof that this is a war on the country and on its people than attacking universities and schools, the human capital infrastructure.
