Yes, I am crying about how a new branch of government just got authority to arrest Americans. I do not believe ICE will follow the law when arresting Americans, including providing the arrested persons with an opportunity to consult a lawyer, or even be read their rights. I think ICE will leave Americans in extrajudicial detention in ways that violate the constitution’s tenets regarding the rights of accused criminals.
