Sonya Massey was somebody. She was treated like nothing by the officers who shot her after she called them for help. Sonya should still be alive today. We say ‘Black lives matter’ because it’s clear that to many, our lives don’t matter. Sonya mattered. We matter.

So, condemn the cops who showed up in riot gear to intimidate and hurt young people.
