Sony has published a patent for dynamically adjusting (nerfing or buffing) players in multiplayer sessions to balance cross-platform like console, PC, and mobile. The technology would monitor hardware, input methods, and skill levels in real time Then nerf or buff players, such as by reducing speed or reaction times for console and PC users to balance disadvantages faced by mobile players using touch controls.

@LambdaGen @SteamDB PPP is huge. South Africa is often among the most expensive with whatever "regional pricing" is used. Hopefully this is adopted by many developers. Fair prices for all, everywhere.

Unused RAM is wasted RAM. Most of the RAM used (besides what apps are actively using) is stuff cached to reopen or navigate back to faster. If other apps need they take. Clearing preemptively won't help much. If apps use too much ram: restart your pc periodically and/or apps. It's good practice. Close background apps to free RAM. THAT makes a difference. I don't think software like this is going to make a tangible difference but I'd be stoked to be proved wrong. Surprised to see MajorGeeks speaking about this (assuming this is an official account I haven't looked deeper than my TL yet)

@zenatrical @Simon_Hypixel Absolutely :) That's how these MC mods work. There are also chunk pre-gen mods for Hytale which would trigger the same. No need to generate HUGE distances on spawn, but over time build them up, or on a much lower-priority thread in the background

@TCNOco @Simon_Hypixel They work only when you've already went to the places, Unless if i've missed some new mod that actually has a built-in world view of like 10 000 blocks as soon as you spawn.

What small features or quality-of-life improvements would you like us to add to Hytale in the short term? I already have a massive list from the in-game feedback button, Discord, Reddit, YouTube, and other social platforms, so we are not running out of things to do! That said, I am curious to see what you think should be the highest priority!

@zenatrical @Simon_Hypixel True... But Minecraft is also procgen... And plugins already exist that work. I assume Chunks generated by users > Lower LODs generated at the same time, and cached. LODs update when users make changes in chunks.

@TCNOco @Simon_Hypixel The problem with lods is that they're hard to make them work in procedurally generated worlds, unless they use a height map

If @YouTube audio sounds terrible, make sure you have the new setting disabled. Seems like turning off one leads to the other being turned on... Or something along those lines. Make sure to toggle them both on and both off for it all to be off for good. Sounds terrible, like people speaking with heavy noise removal or through a phone. Stable Volume has been there for a while with Voice boost being a new option. I had both off (visually) but Voice boost being new was on by default even though it wasn't checked.

@Grimdoomer Could even be something like AHK or AHK-based apps. Anything from the Librewolf updater to others... Anticheats are very annoying nowadays

@Simon_Hypixel Long term: LODs. Distant Horizons type stuff. Would be an insane W for everyone. View distance eats performance. This is the way.

What are your top 5 small changes you want in Hytale? Gathering feedback today to do some quick changes that can be easily implemented in the next few days. I got a list of 100+ of my own, trying to see where we align!
