My Opinion - @PatrickChristys talks sense. The multicultural experiment has failed. It’s time that people understand that Britain is for the British. We will always be welcoming to those who come here looking for a home and a willingness to live by British laws, British culture, British beliefs and by British standards. But only to those that come here the correct way. Those who have snuck onto our shores illegally, refuse to assimilate and worse attempt to make Britain, our home, a carbon copy of the shitholes that these people come from, it’s time for them to go back. Judges are supposed to uphold the rule of law. Completely ignoring the law because some illegal migrants child happens to like chicken nuggets is just completely fucking batshit insane. The British judiciary needs to get a grip, get with the program and deport these people before someone they care for becomes a victim to these criminals. The worst thing is most of these illegal immigrants don’t even come from countries that would qualify them for asylum status. They come here solely for the benefits gravy train. So far in the nearly two very miserable years of your premiership, you’ve proven yourself to be:- Able to stand up for China, having multiple spies get off scot free, attempting to hand over control of the Chagos islands to them, putting their steel industry ahead of ours, and allowing them to build a intelligence fortress in our capital just a few metres from our crucial communications cables. Able to stand up for Europe, realigning with them politically, handing them hundreds of millions of pounds to stop the boats, that they are actually using to provide the vey boats we want stopped, attempting to give away sovereignty of Gibraltar. Able to stand up for those military age men from foreign lands that arrived here illegally on the boats provided by the EU and are openly hostile towards our population. You ensured they got the Royal treatment when they arrived, luxury accommodation, phones and access to vulnerable women. Able to stand up for the rights of minorities that rape and abuse young girls. To cover up their actions, to lose vital paperwork that would have ensured convictions, and to block any attempts at a true legally binding inquiry that would lead to prosecution of both those that committed the acts and those in YOUR government that covered it up. Able to stand up for a ruthless foreign occupying regime that butchers its own people and is responsible for 90% of the acts of terrorism around the world. But the good news is that the one thing you cannot be accused of is standing up for Britain. You have accused us of being far right. You made our elderly freeze in their homes. You have put our farmers and means of food production at risk. You have endangered our women and girls. You have curtailed free speech. You have imprisoned those who speak out against you. You’re trying to remove the thousand year right to a fair trial You have destroyed our military and the ability to defend ourselves It all sounds like it is, an evil corrupt government run by a tin pot dictator. I may do that if I can find somewhere in the UK that shows the US original not our cut to ribbons version. But given how prudish our lot can be… it took them 30 years to release a 60s movie because it only hinted at taboo subjects it will probably be another 100 years before they allow it on TV 🤣

Yeah apparently every nation had an earlier version except the UK whose censorship laws ensured what ended being released here in the 60s bore no resemblance to Cape Fear. I have since learned that the version the rest of the world go to see was finally released directly to VHS in the 90s just before the De Niro version was released.
