@ESPNRittenberg Refs lost control of this game about 30 seconds after the opening tip. This has been a poor example of play and officiating.

I rarely say this during a college game, but more fouls should be called.

@TimBrando @KamWilliamsFN I have no skin in the game - this is poorly officiated all the way around. If you are a true basketball fan, this is not how basketball should be played, or refereed.

@KamWilliamsFN No they aren’t. Those are legitimate fouls properly called game so far! If ya follow me ya know I’d say otherwise if I felt it was poorly officiated.

The problem with this game is that there are thousands of young basketball players out there thinking this is how basketball should be played. The game will continue to get worse because no one - players or refs - follow the rules of the sport.

Spoke with a couple from Columbus, OH. They paid $280k for a home in 2020 & that home is now $475,000. They got a 30 year, 3.75% mortgage. They now have 2 kids, need more space but a new home doubles their housing costs. ...They're trapped & millions are in this situation.

@Jack_John_Mark I agree. I thought we should have continued to take it inside pound the paint. Outside of Sandfort and Frager no one else could shoot the 3 and players were getting tired. Iowa kept moving the ball - it seemed like we were dribbling and holding it way too long.

Nebraska didn’t lose the game because they had 4 guys on the floor for 2 seconds. Tired of people saying that 😂 We only got 2 buckets between the 9 minute mark and 1 minute mark of the 2nd half. That…..is what lost the game. For crying out loud, that one play wasn’t the game.

Bennett Stirtz has played all possible 120 minutes for Iowa this tournament. He has 0 fouls and 1 turnover.

@KCAvsFan9 There were things not called both ways. But I have never seen so few fouls called in one half ever.

Nebraska only had two fouls until the last two minutes. Anybody putting this on the refs is coping. Besides, there was really only one bad miss that I saw, when Mast got fouled 3 times on one drive to the paint.
