We all have our silent wars. Mine is with SQL joins — figuring out how and when to combine different datasets to get useful insights. It’s been one of my biggest weaknesses. But instead of accepting defeat, I decided to lean into it. Spent the whole day practicing; failing, getting burned out, but not quitting. For this task, I queried the Ton.dex_trades dataset to track: • daily active traders • returning traders • retention rate on Blum. From the findings: Retention mostly sits between 30%–45%, with a few spikes above 50%. That tells a simple story: Not every trader is currently sticking around — the current indecisive market condition could be a major factor as traders are trying to stay SAFU, but a consistent group keeps coming back. This says a lot too. Retention is important because in on-chain data it shows whether users are just passing through — or actually finding value. Still figuring out joins, but doing that with consistent reps. See you on the 3rd query. GM legends🫱🏽🫲🏾 🔗 dune.com/queries/687373…
