So Chelsea secretly pay out £47.5m in brown envelopes to players & agents for 7 years helping them sign players like Hazard and gain sporting advantage while winning multiple trophies.. PUNISHMENT: £10m fine —— Everton meanwhile, slightly breach PSR, overspending by £19.5m over the allowable £105m limit in one period, largely linked to stadium investment & COVID impacts. PUNISHMENT: 10 point deduction followed by a another 2 point deduction both which directly affected their league position and prize money whilst risking being relegated from the Premier League.. AND now have to pay Burnley £40m for alleged lost earnings due to Everton’s “unfair advantage!?” —— One club hid tens of millions in shady payments for years and got a slap on the wrist. The other got hammered with points lost, risked being relegated, costing millions in prize money for league placement and now have to pay compensation to clubs as well!? The disparity in severity, sporting impact and deterrence makes the rules look ridiculous and unfair. “Big” clubs get no consequences for their actions, while Everton are the league’s whipping boy suffering multiple existential hits. Why are Everton treated so differently to every other club in the league!?

I haven’t once said the team is shit, I’ve said we have created fewer chances in the league and been one of the lowest scoring teams for a long time.. that’s just fact. You’re reading into minimal assist stats far too much. Assists measure a player’s contribution only when a teammate successfully converts the opportunity into a score. A brilliant pass, cross or setup that creates a high quality chance still yields zero if the finisher misses, is blocked or simply fails to convert. As a result, the statistic reflects not just the creator’s skill but also the finishing ability (and lot of luck) of others, making it an incomplete and contingent gauge of playmaking value.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ You think Ndiaye needs to do more and hasn’t created enough in the last 2 years.. yet he’s 6th on the list of goalscoring wingers in the last 2 years in the most competitive league in the world.. doesn’t really add up with what you’re saying at all does it..

The whole team dropped off badly. No one finished well. It’s not just about better players it’s about a competent fullback that can offer support, it’s basic principles of football. Teams doubled up on Ndiaye a lot of time because he was isolated, obviously a proper full back (who isn’t a centre back) would find better passes to him, play 1 2’s and get forward to create space for Ndiaye to dribble.

@TFinnAgain It could. 1st need to consider why his output dropped off so badly last season 2nd his creating output is not just about playing with better players. He’s a great dribbler Not sure what he then does is as good - why would that improve?

And yet he’s the 6th highest goalscoring winger in the league playing for a team that barely creates or scores? So you’re genuinely trying to tell me, in a better team with better players and a full back able to support down his side and take players away from him.. Ndiaye’s output wouldn’t be higher?

@TFinnAgain I wasn’t terrified I said he scored really well in 24/25 He got 4 outfield goals last season, and 3 penalties. I posted the assists, because his figures are poor. And it’s not to do with no overlapping Fb or poor finishing by forwards He doesn’t create many good chances

I mention his output, you choose to focus only on assists because you’re well aware he’s one of the best goalscoring wingers in the league of the last 2 seasons despite playing in one of the lowest scoring teams in the league and 6 months in a Dyche team. Also completely fair to say with better players around him including a fullback that can get forward and support, his output would be much higher 👍🏻

@TFinnAgain I’m not your secretary. If you want to post a stat, post it. I’ll post the stats that I think are relevant. You think his assists numbers are poor because of his teammates. Yet so many players have produced better figures.

@TFinnAgain 4 this season if exclude penalties One more than Keane He was a decent finisher for first 18 months. Without that he really didn’t add much But guess that’s all other people’s fault

@Mullers1988 Been playing isolated on the wing since he came with opposition doubling & trebling up on him with no help If he stays & we get a proper full back and forward that can play to his strengths we’ll see how good he really is Can’t blame him for considering a move for these reasons

@TFinnAgain I agree totally, love him and don’t want him to leave. But he isn’t always consistent and if he’d been more consistent along with others at the end of last season he could’ve helped get us into Europe. If he’s going to throw his toys out the pram he can go in my view mate

@TFinnAgain He has unfortunately had to do all his best work for us at the halfway line and drag us up the pitch then run out of options in the final third. He’d thrive in a more attacking team with some help from a full back - instead of him helping the full back.

@dawkinm No Champs League in Saudi. The whole teams output was questionable, probably a testament of how important Ndiaye is to the side. When he had a slump the whole team did. With a better team around him he could genuinely become the best winger in the league.
