TFG are our owners for now - they’ve partly addressed some of our funding issues - they seem to realise it’s best to try and employ the best CEO & Manager you can and then leave them to do their job -they will use every accounting trick they can

@slbsn The IC clearly took it seriously - though procedurally they got it all wrong. From rereading I’m not sure the PL considered it that serious The breach was their main focus - acting in good faith seemed a bit of an afterthought.

@slbsn It may be worth revisiting Everton’s first breach (and appeal) in trying to make some sense of the Chelsea “punishment” The PL only raised “acting in utmost good faith” as an aggravating factor. It was the IC that (wrongly) seemed to treat is as if it was a charge.

To me it reads like the PL was trying to avoid getting to the whole can of worms about intent. Much more focussed on the simpler mathematics of calculating the breach.

@MrBoogerstrom @Progression1878 Our fans are feeling aggrieved. But the key thing is what does it say to those that competed fairly. They’ve really been shafted. No attempt to look into why they did it & whether it opened up deals that otherwise wouldn’t have happened.

@efctruth20802 The vast majority of people/fans saw a 10 point deduction reduced to 6 on appeal as the outcome. Which ever way you look at it the point is there is no consistency in the FAs punishments.

@FlIngve The problem with your conspiracy is why favour Chelsea & possibly City It’s clubs like Liverpool, Arsenal etc that were disadvantaged. Why aren’t the PL looking out for them?

@EddyJBlue No it wasn’t It was a 10 point deduction that was set aside A new 6 point penalty was imposed from first principles. It’s a legal matter. Understanding a bit about the law helps. 🤷‍♂️

@efctruth20802 Sounds like a politicians response. it was a 10 point deduction, which on appeal was reduced to 6. That's it.

Garner joined Everton as a 21 year old Played just 800 league minutes in first season, partly due to injuries. Didn’t start a league game until the April Then started 7 of the last 8.

@baker_jeremiah @RyanSoccerAA I just fail to see why we'd want Moyes gone right now. There's absolutely no reason for it. That's not to say he should be manager in 2-3 years or that he can't be frustrating.
