Can’t even have FRTs in Florida and do they still have red flag laws? That’s def not a green state imo
Hunter Eagleman™@Hunter_Eagleman
How each state is currently viewed on gun policies and 2nd amendment rights. Thank God I live in a green state! 🤠🇺🇸

If you follow Chud or see his posts (they're kind of hard to escape) you likely knew this day was coming. It seems to be true, I found a post about it on the Sheriff's Dept FB page.

ChudTheBuilder shot a man who attacked him outside a courthouse in Clarksville & accidentally grazed himself in the process. Before it escalated, he asked the man if he was going to “chimp out” the man then walked up & sucker punched him. It is unclear if the man survived.

@MAC_Arms I’m more concerned about going from getting in a fist fight to shooting someone. It can happen and be legal, but it can also come down as some form of homicide depending on the circumstances… lots of variables will have to be accounted for. I certainly wouldn’t want to be him.

@Smith_WessonInc I’m not a S&W fan… but man you guys nail it with the color game. Titanium Blue all day

Security footage was released today after it was announced that the two Gastonia police officers who shot and killed a man at a convenience store in January won’t face any criminal charges.
Before getting into the details, as someone who has spent a lot of time in Gastonia, NC, this is the most "Gastonia" gas station conversation I've ever heard (audio up) 😎
-very good body positioning by the cop to conceal his 4 o'clock draw and a solid draw and first shot on target time 🤌🏽
-the cop took at least two shots on the threat while the threat was at a 90 degree angle; good example of why the 12-18'' penetration standard is the standard. Also, at that angle the standard "torso" target get's a whole lot thinner and the accuracy demanded increases
-after the man in red was shot and killed saving taxpayers millions of dollars, it was discovered that the "gun" he pulled was a replica and not real
Train accordingly...

@grok @JacobEliButler @Mrgunsngear Your internet lawyer is confusing civil liability with criminal statutes. NC does have a dereliction of duty statute:
G.S. 14-230
So it would depend on his department policy and training as to if he could be charged. But, he can absolutely be charged for failing to act.
English

No, North Carolina follows the public duty doctrine, as recognized by the NC Supreme Court (e.g., Braswell v. Braswell, 1991). Police owe duties to the public generally, not to any specific individual absent a "special relationship."
They have statutory authority to arrest for offenses in their presence (NCGS 15A-401), plus job expectations, but no personal legal duty enforceable by lawsuit for failing to protect or intervene in a given situation. Same principle as the SCOTUS cases.
English

@TGill55441 @Mrgunsngear They do not.
@Grok do police have a duty to enforce the law according to SCOTUS? Do they have any legal duty to stop a crime of violence committed in their presence?
English

@JacobEliButler @Mrgunsngear @grok ORC 2921.44
A) No law enforcement officer shall negligently do any of the following:
(2) Fail to prevent or halt the commission of an offense or to apprehend an offender, when it is in the law enforcement officer's power to do so alone or with available assistance.
English

@JacobEliButler @Mrgunsngear I did not say enforce the law, I said stop a crime a violence committed in their presence. Which they do
English

@TGill55441 @Mrgunsngear Cops do not have a legal obligation to enforce the law... especially off duty cops.
SCOTUS has been saying this since 1981 but you "back the blue" goofballs still think cops are here to protect you.
English

@Mrgunsngear Lots of “he only got off the hook because he’s a cop” takes on here.
In a sense it’s correct, because of LE having an obligation to intercede in a crime of violence occurring in their presence. Unlike a regular Joe who has no legal obligation and can just walk away.
English

@JacobEliButler @Mrgunsngear Correct, “because he’s a cop” and likely has a legal obligation to effectuate an arrest on a crime of violence occurring in his presence. A legal obligation no civilian has.
A regular joe can just mind their own business. He cannot.
English

@Mrgunsngear Only reason the guy isn't facing charges is because he's a cop.
Is this a self defense/defense of others that is reasonable? Maybe, maybe not.
100% a jury question.
Based on what I see here, I don't think this is a good shoot.

I can see why @TheRascallion was so excited to get this week's giveaway announcement posted!
In line with the current administration's policy of transparency, and the release of the "UFO" and "UAP" files, Rascal gave me a few vague pointers of where to look and that I might find something interesting.
While he will not elaborate on the details I do have, in my possession, this very fascinating old file photograph of Rascal standing with the venerable @BlastingThrough . Rascal will not say whether this has anything to do with aliens of the extra-terrestrial variety or what it is doing mixed in with all these other seemingly unrelated files. All I can pry out of him is that he was carrying a sweet Belgium Browning Hi Power 9mm pistol and that "she never failed him back in those wild days when I was running with Mad Mike."
So there ya have it folks. This week's Harvey's Famous Weekly Giveaway is the very same pistol! We also want to highlight @SummRidge who has been helping to sponsor these giveaways and continues to do so on this one!
TO ENTER, FOLLOW us and @SummRidge , REPOST and or QUOTE POST, and REPLY TO THIS POST!
We will announce the winner this coming Monday as always! We appreciate you all and GOOD LUCK!

@FiredUpCoug If that’s the second time it’s bit a kid, it needs to take a trip to the farm.

Remember me talking about my neighbor's dogs that keep pooping in our yard with zero care from the owner?
One of them just chased my 6yo daughter while she was playing outside and bit her arm.
15 minutes before by 9yo daughter's birthday party.
I'm not at the urgent care with my six year old and my wife is juggling a birthday party with 8 kids on her own.
This is the second child this dog has bitten. We have already contacted animal control and filed a report.
Is there anything else I should be doing?

The Jacksonville, FL sheriff’s office released bodycam footage of multiple deputies engaging Robert Phillips (53) after Mr. Phillips opened fire with his Smith & Wesson SD9 2.0.
Mr. Phillips reportedly shot and killed a woman earlier in the day and was boxed in by at least 7 deputies prior to the impromptu two way range being established.
5 deputies used their Gen5 Glock 47s wearing Holosun EPS & Trijicon RMR red dot optics and Streamlight TLR-1 HL lights to ventilate Mr. Phillips and his vehicle saving taxpayers millions of dollars.
No injuries were reported from the stray rounds that went into the surrounding homes 🏠
Plan accordingly...

🚨#BREAKING: Watch as a Frontier Airlines aircraft forced to make an emergency after a pedestrian on the runway was struck and sucked into one of the jet’s engines
📌#Denver | #Colorado
Watch as horrifying footage from earlier this morning shows the moment Frontier Flight 4345, departing from Denver International Airport and bound for Los Angeles, was forced into an emergency evacuation after a man reportedly walked onto the active runway and was sucked into one of the aircraft’s engines during takeoff. The impact triggered a brief engine fire, which was quickly extinguished by airport firefighters. Officials later confirmed the individual had been walking on the runway prior to the incident, though the reason remains unknown and is now under investigation. No injuries were reported among the 231 passengers onboard the aircraft.
Frontier Airlines and federal investigators are now reviewing how the person was able to gain access to an active runway at one of the largest airports in the United States, raising serious questions about perimeter and airfield security procedures.
