Manhunt Underway After MPD Officer Shot During Traffic Stop On February 26 at 8:09 p.m., Officer Torres-Molina was shot during a traffic stop at Aloha Avenue and South Perkins. He is currently in critical but stable condition and receiving excellent care. The suspect, Danell Jarvis Maxwell, is considered armed and dangerous. “This was a direct act of violence against a law enforcement officer serving this city. We will use every available resource to locate and apprehend the suspect,” said Chief C.J.
