@joshgessner You’re right it doesn’t need to be complicated. Only critique is betting a bar ball on the back compresses the spine and your body reacts by protecting it. For rotational athletes, I’d suggest goblet squats or dumbbell squats.

My No-BS Lifting Program to Throw 95+ MPH. When I was throwing 95 to 96, I was able to squat over 400 pounds and deadlift over 600 pounds. I was a strong guy, and I think that's pretty necessary for athletes who aren't especially genetically gifted. You need to build a really strong foundation. You want to get really, really strong. And don't overcomplicate your lifting program. For me, I used a five by five program. That was five sets of five on squats, deadlifts, bench press, pull ups, and some type of row. I simply tried to add weight every single week. That was it. I really don't like a lot of these baseball specific lifting programs, especially for novice athletes who aren't very strong yet. You don't need a bunch of fancy exercises to make gains. Stick to the basics. Don't confuse yourself. Don't overthink it. Just hammer the bread and butter lifts. Progressively overload them and get as strong as you possibly can.

@flowsdoc My opinion has very little to do w throwing so much or even velo training. Has much more to do with the lack of fully body strength agility & mobility. Find a great rotational strength coach & put more time there vs skill training. We use @TrainPmt. Amazing program and coaches.

Should kids throw curveballs? Or are we asking the WRONG question? I just evaluated a 10-year-old with a UCL tear… who couldn’t even do a simple get up from the ground. And we’re debating pitch types? This isn’t a curveball problem. This is a youth development problem. Kids are: ⚾️ Playing 90+ games a year ⚾️ Throwing max intent before they can move ⚾️ Training like mini-pros ⚾️ Skipping athletic development ⚾️ Living in velocity culture And then we’re shocked when their elbows explode. So I’ll ask again: 👉 Is the curveball the villain? Or are we breaking kids before they ever get the chance to grow?

It’s official. It’s so hard to sit and watch your kid play the game they love and listen to some of the nonsense that parents talk about. It’s really not that bad. You don’t need to complain about every little detail. You don’t need to try and dissect everything the coach is thinking. You don’t need to get upset over every close ball/strike call. You don’t need to offer your hitting advice after every pitch. You don’t need to question every decision. You don’t need to make excuses for poor play. Please just stop 🛑 It’s so annoying and embarrassing at the same time. #BaseballTruth

@coachzblair10 Then your coaching the wrong families. Culture and relationships matter. Build young men/women first. Find families that want that. The sport comes second.

James Talarico wants to represent Texas but is anti- meat, anti-gun, anti-oil, thinks white people are inherently racist, that God is 'non-binary,' and that the Bible justifies abortion.
Bobby LaValley@Bobby_LaVallley

In 2022, James Talarico said it’s “existential” to reduce meat consumption to fight climate change. "I am proud to say that our campaign has officially become a non-meat campaign... We are only buying vegan products from our local vegan businesses."

Talarico asked about his tweet saying white Americans spread a racism virus: “I of course, looking back at some of these old statements from years ago, would maybe word them differently or communicate them differently. But the values that I hold are still the same." Exactly. Talarico’s rhetoric moderates when needed. His ideology doesn’t.

@JDVance You have officially lost my support. I was hoping you or @TulsiGabbard would speak honestly and speak out against this mess. But sadly there’s just no difference than the rest of the military industrial complex. Same story different day. Not what you campaigned on. I’m just sad

President Trump will not get the United States into a years-long conflict with no clear objective. Iran can never be allowed to obtain a nuclear weapon. That is the goal of this operation and President Trump will see it through to completion.⁩

.@JDVance and @TulsiGabbard you both need to speak out against the war in Iran. People are paying attention, very close attention. Silence won’t cut it. You were both on record repeatedly, publicly, and loudly against going to war with Iran. Our friend, Charlie Kirk was adamantly against war with Iran. You cannot be silent. Americans are dying. You both know this is not what we campaigned for and this is 100% what we said would not happen. We said, I said, you said: NO MORE FOREIGN WARS AND NO MORE REGIME CHANGE. All we wanted was America FIRST. This is not it.

@coachbrucepearl Brother in Christ what about Romans 9:6? Paul has already defined Israel as the new church & not ethnic Israel. Christ fulfilled the the covenant & is the head of the church. Only hrough Christ can we come to faith. Jews that reject Christ as savior will not inherit the kingdom.

At the First Judeo Christian Zionist Congress I asked for help combating replacement theology, a belief that the Church has replaced Israel. They both have connected rolls! Gods covenant with Israel is irrevocable and in Rom 11 believers are grafted in, Israel is not replaced

@shane_pruitt78 So a progressive christian is not a Christ Follower. Pretty clear based on definition above. Follow Jesus. Thats what matters. The biblical, God in son form, a man, that was killed buried and raised from the dead for our sins. We aren’t worthy of Gods love except through Jesus.

Major DIFFERENCES between Traditional Christianity & Progressive Christianity. How can two people that both claim to be evangelical Christians have such differing views from one another? One explanation comes down to two different major theological frameworks. They are vastly different from one another: 1. View of Scripture Progressive Christianity: - Often reinterprets difficult passages in light of modern ethics and scholarship. - Sees doctrine as open to development and reform. Traditional Christianity: - Holds Scripture as divinely inspired and authoritative. - Sees core doctrines as settled and not subject to cultural revision. 2. Understanding of Jesus Progressive Christianity; - Emphasizes Jesus’ teachings on love, inclusion, & justice. - May interpret substitutionary atonement, or even the resurrection in symbolic or non- literal ways . - Often, focuses more on Jesus as a moral example than as divine Savior. Traditional Christianity: - Affirms Jesus as fully God and fully man. - Holds to literal bodily resurrection. - Teaches that Jesus’ death atones for sin. - Jesus is not just an example, but is also Lord and Savior. 3. View of Sin and Salvation Progressive Christianity: - Often defines sin more in terms of injustice, oppression, and broken systems. - Salvation may be described as healing, liberation, or earthly victory over systems. Traditional Christianity: - Defines sin primarily as rebellion against God. - Teaches repentance and faith as necessary. - Affirms eternal realities such as heaven and hell. 4. Moral & Sexual Ethics Progressive Christianity: - Often affirms same-sex marriage and LGBTQ clergy. - May revise traditional teachings on gender roles. Traditional Christianity: - Holds historic teaching that marriage is between a man and a woman. - Maintains traditional sexual ethics as clearly defined by the Bible. - Sees these teachings as rooted in Scripture and natural law, and doesn’t change according to culture. Often, Progressive Christianity is code language for compromising on old sin.

Christian apologist **@WesleyLHuff** drops the raw truth on the Shawn Ryan Show when asked the ultimate question: **What happens when we die?** In a powerful moment, Wes shares the gospel straight-up—sin's deadly wage, Christ's sacrificial death and resurrection, and the free gift of eternal life through faith in Jesus. No fluff, no dodging—just bold, biblical clarity that hits hard. "The wages of sin is death... but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23) This clip is going viral for a reason: Real talk about life, death, and what comes next from one of the sharpest defenders of the faith today. Watch the full exchange—it's convicting, hopeful, and unapologetically gospel-centered. Who else needs to hear this right now? ✝️

🚨@LeaderJohnThune is already backtracking on what he reportedly told some House Republicans: that if we reopened the government, he’d keep his word and bring the SAVE Act to the floor. House Republicans MUST hold the line and refuse to fold on something as fundamental as election integrity. The SAVE Act belongs on must-pass legislation.
Laura Weiss@LauraEWeiss16

NEW: THUNE says he hasn’t made any commitments to require a “standing” filibuster to try to pass SAVE Act Thune says some Senate R’s have expressed interest in that option “so we’re going to have a conversation about it” BUT Thune adds conference must consider ramifications & that it could tie up the floor for a large amount of time. Thune says “the votes aren’t there” to shorten the filibuster time

No. All religions are not the same nor do they point to the same truth. Their texts and tenets don’t even claim to be the same. To say they are is to be either willfully ignorant or utterly confused.
